Received this product today, and am delighted. My mother has a Syrian friend that introduced me to Za'atar and this is now my new addiction. He claims that he brought his Za'atar back from Syria, but I have my doubts after tasting Z&Z Za'aatar, too similar. With that being said, I spent over several hours researching Za'atar to find the perfect blend of seasonings/flavors. Each country (and region) has their own unique blend. This Za'atar is exactly what I was searching for. The flavor is amazing and I'm so happy with this purchase. Yes, price wise it is higher than most but so worth the price. Will continue to purchase this going forward. I'm not Middle Eastern; however, I know quality ingredients. Give this a try!

Put it in my burgers. Outstanding! ( Also added garlic, onion, harissa, & smoked paprika!The smell alone was worth it!! The taste, amazing!

I purchased a small size first since I’d never used this blend before. I have to say, I really love the blend. I put it on everything. I give it 4 stars due to I really wish it had a seal in the inside of the container, and I wish it included a cap where you could either shake it out or the other side where you could dispense a larger amount. Plus the outer seal (little tab), was small. So, I was surprised when all I had to do was turn the cap and it was open, and that’s it. I’m used to items like this having a much better protection seal. Other than that, I just purchased a bigger container of this spice, even though I haven’t finished this small size yet. Great purchase, and if I get a chance I’d like to go to their store in DC, but until then, I’ll keep purchasing through Amazon.

This is a spice that every household should have. It enhances just about all foods. A little goes a long way.

Very, very pleased! I bought this on Amazon for a specific recipe. With everything purchased online, you may have concerns about the quality and with food the freshness! Don't be! This is delicious, fragrant, and I didn't have to battle with the Thanksgiving grocery store frenzy! It came the next day and it's for a recipe I'm making tomorrow. Finding specialty herbs, seasoning, and ingredients can be difficult, so don't hesitate with this one! I look forward to my Middle Eastern inspired roasted sweet potato wedges! It's also going to be used in so many other ways! Thinking popcorn, scrambled eggs, cottage cheese. And so much more ;-)
