The media could not be loaded. I recently picked up the Founissa GDL-5A Trail Camera, and I have to say, it’s met my expectations. Here’s my take after using it for a few days:Picture and Video Quality: The 48MP photos are "sharp", and the 4K video quality is fantastic in very low light, especially when you’re trying to capture wildlife. The sound feature is a nice touch too. I’ve been able to record some great moments that I didn’t expect to catch on camera.Night Vision is Impressive: I was a bit skeptical about the night vision, but it works really well! The infrared lights don’t spook the animals, which is great if you're trying to observe natural behavior. I’ve gotten clear images from about 85 feet away, which has been a game changer for my wildlife watching. The video that shows the back fence is that distance so there's plenty of power to the illuminators.Fast Trigger Speed: I love how quickly it captures images—just 0.1 seconds! I’ve had other cameras that missed action, but this one has caught everything I’ve wanted to see, even when animals are moving fast.Durable and Weather-Resistant: We have sprinklers and the camera got soaked twice. The camera has held up without any issues. It’s rated IP66, so I feel confident leaving it out. It’s also compact and easy to hide, which is a bonus for security use.Setup and Use: Setting it up was pretty straightforward. The 2.0” screen is clear, and the controls are intuitive. It came with everything I needed—mounting straps, a memory card, and even batteries—so I was ready to go right out of the box. I was too excited to use this but I managed to set it up without instructions... that's saying a lot. The only thing I had to look up was the difference between Test and On.With that said, here are my thoughts on the image quality and the claims. This is not a DSLR. This is not a 4K camera phone. I've included details of the video and photos taken and the resolution is clearly blown out and nonsensical in the terms of a real camera. These images are clearly interpolated and resized because an 8K camera at this price point is not possible. Neither is a true 4K. In the photo of the cat, you can see the full photo quality and a 1:1 screen capture of the cat's head. YOu can clearly see artifacting. This will appear in all photos and video but, honestly, at this price point, it's very usable. The point of this is that you want to capture wildlife to see what's coming through your yard or to track what you're hunting. This does that spectacularly and the ease of setup is exceptional. You're not going to squeeze National Geographic wildlife photo quality out of this but you shouldn't be expecting that anyways.Bottom Line: The Founissa GDL-5A has been a solid addition to my outdoor gear. Whether you’re using it for hunting or just observing wildlife, it gets the job done well. I’ve enjoyed using it, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable trail camera without all the fuss.

I've been using this trailcam for a few months and have found it to be reliable at capturing clear sharp photos and videos day and night. Has a 130° wide angle lens. The 48MP photos and 4K videos when viewed on my PC monitor looked fine. Instructions were simple and setup was easy. The bright 2" LCD switches from setup menu to camera monitor. Access to image files are via included removeable 64GB SD card or with USB cable. Flexible mounting options with straps or stand. Various mode settings to trigger camera, choose photo, video or both, audio, interval, sequence, timer, timelapse, resolution, length, sensitivity, economy, password, power off timer, and other settings that affect file size and battery life. I've been capturing daytime stills and vids of my backyard birds. I'll bring it on car camping trips to capture images of critters at night that may be sniffing for food around my tent. Makes a great security cam. Came with eight batteries. Trailcam is well built, clamps tight with waterproof seal. Molded plastic feels sturdy and appears rugged. Nice camo color. Great value. Happy with purchase.

The media could not be loaded. I am so impressed with the Founissa Trail Camera The images are incredibly clear and crisp. I staged different setups for me to learn the resolution settings. I started out with a trial (as depicted in the pictures) on a 4 x 4 post to catch a glimpse of my dogs eating. Next, I mounted the strap on a tree, set some food and a trash bag out to check on the neighbor dogs and other animals curious about food, such as possums and coons. Later, I staged a setup in my woods to catch a glimpse of deer grazing. I hear wolves in the back woods and wondering what there night movement looks like for safety and property protection. With all that assessment, I can confidently say the camera picks up motion and moment well and has a good resolution in the day or night-time. Once I caught on to the routine, it is quite easy to navigate the settings. It is easy to hook the USB player to the camera and laptop for instant pictures from the media player. The camera can also serve as a temporary (batteries vs Wi-Fi) security monitoring device. I am considering gifts for a son who is an avid outdoorsman, and my older school age grandchildren for learning and fun. The product is an excellent value.
