Just Perfect
I really like its dimming feature, which works gradually and in perfect increments, unlike others I’ve tried in the past. It feels more natural. It’s great if you struggle to wake up with a normal alarm. The light itself does a fantastic job because it helps your body start releasing cortisol to wake you up.I also like its unique design. It looks nice, different, and modern. The only issue I have is turning it on and off when you don’t want it on. I wish there was a button for that instead of having to use the switch. That’s my only gripe with it. Overall, I like it and recommend it.

Nice way to wake up
The gradual lightening is a nice way to wake up, the white noise machine is a decent way to get to sleep.

Enjoy it more than I thought I would
I absolutely HATE getting jolted awake with an alarm in the mornings. This is lovely... gently waking you with light. You do have the option of sound and light if you wish though. The nightlight has 12 different options including 3 that morph through a bunch of colors. I really appreciate that I can dim the nightlight and the time display or turn them off completely. There are 25 preset sleep sounds and most of them seem focused on sleep, while a handful are geared toward meditation/relaxation. While I didn't care for some like "Lullaby" or "Shush", there are several like "Rain" "Wind" and "Forest" that I particularly enjoy. It's also fantastic that I can connect my phone through Bluetooth and listen to music that way as well. There are tons of directions for all the buttons and it can be overwhelming right out of the box, but the directions are very clear and after you set it up once it's all relatively user-friendly. I am supremely pleased with this little gem!

Finally understand the hype of sunrise alarm clocks
This sunrise alarm has been a great addition to my mornings. Right out of the box, I appreciated the Quickstart guide, which made the setup process smooth despite the 12 buttons on top. Thankfully, they’re all clearly labeled, and I didn’t even need to dive into the manual to get it up and running. The only slightly confusing part was the "BT" button, as it didn’t use the standard Bluetooth symbol and I am not convinced this needs Bluetooth connectivity...but it has it.The alarm is highly customizable and very intuitive to use. I’ve noticed that waking up with the gradual sunrise feature (starting 30 min before alarm time) and the sound of birds chirping at alarm time makes a huge difference in how alert I feel compared to the harsh wake-up calls I used to get from traditional alarm clocks. The nightlight feature is also handy, doubling as a soft light while winding down before bed. It is very customizable with different colors and brightness settings.I have noticed the white noise sounds are not very long before they loop and can be repetitive when listening to some but this is a minor drawback as I mainly use this to wake up and not as a designated white noise machine. So if you plan to use it often in that way you have been warned it could sound repetitive. While the price might seem a bit steep, at $50, I believe the quality and thoughtful design make it worth it. If you're looking for a more gentle and effective way to wake up, I’d highly recommend this sunrise alarm.

It's okay.
This would be a great clock in my opinion for a kid. It's cheaply made. The white noise is okay. However, the clock could be a little brighter to see with the lights on. Great dimmable effect but not very useful for me. I do like the wake up light. For that, I wish it were a little brighter.

Love this so much, but it does have a couple of glaring downsides. But 100% worth it!
I love so much this has buttons for everything. Makes it super nice to set up and use. Especially in the dark. I love that you can turn off the display. I love so much about it and it has helped me wake up better and earlier.I wish it had more alarm sounds and colors, and the white noise options are not good. I'd use them but they are all way to high pitched. The best white noise is a good mix of mostly midrange sounds, but this uses a lot of really higher range sounds that are honestly kind of painful to listen to.The nature sounds for the alarm are all... not quite there. Like, the first alarm is a pretty chorus of birds chirping, etc. And it has a coocoo bird in it. And while yes, coocoo birds DO exist in nature, they are just not the most ... peaceful sounding bird. Might be nitpicking. But it bothers me.Another major con, the display light is always white. And it's not a soft white, it's a 5500k or 6000k white. Why is it so blindingly white? I can't sleep unless I turn it off, it bleeds through my eyelids. It is fully brightness adjustable, and I mean, **fully** adjustable on a spinning dial thinger. But if it were RED I could leave it on all the time. As it is I have to turn it on to check the alarm or change times or change the alarm time, etc. Then turn it off to sleep. It's a nuisance and inconvenient and a simple red light would have fixed it, because red doesn't irritate your circadian rhythm or mess with your night vision. Fun fact: ants can't see any red lights at all, so if you want to watch ants at night use a red light. Tangent...Also, the clock is slightly slow. It will move back a minute from time to time off my smartphone or smartwatch. Also annoying. All that being said...I loved this so much though that I bought two and use them in tandem.I do wish there was an app, it would be nice to set things up from my phone or be able to add sounds. But this really is a fantastic sunrise alarm clock that has a lot of cool features. Please don't take my negatives and don't order this because of them. I repeat: I bought two, because I loved the first one so much.
