Fun activity
My grandson loves these. He is trapping every insect in the neighborhood.

Nice
These are super nice for critter observation. The top magnifiers pop off super easily and the lenses come out of the rings. If your little has a fairly light touch these are great, if they're pretty rough on stuff this might not be the best option.

Great magnification and a solid container
The lid of these bug boxes attaches well. It is worth noting that there are three air holes in the lid that are small enough for very small insects (e.g. inch worms, some ants) to crawl out of. The most impressive part of these containers is the double magnifying lens. The lid has a lens integrated into it. There is a second lens attached to the top by a hinge. This allows adjustment of the amount of magnification being used. At $25.99, I think these are reasonably priced.

Thin cheap plastic
Cracked upon opening. Smaller than expected. Cute but definitely won't hold up to kids play.

Fun 6-Pack of Bug Containers
These made fun, little stocking stuffers for my three youngest children. Each container has a different colored lid and came in its own individual box. The plastic seems sturdy, though lightweight and not too thick. The little lids stay on well, so they should function fine to hold real bugs once some are caught. My children had no problem easily using each one. They can open and close the lids, as well as flip the magnifying pieces back and forth on their own. I think it's a cute little set for a decent price and would recommend.

Cute but Cracked
The items are cute and as picture, but 8 of 24 of the bases had cracks in them.

Good for kids!
These magnifying insect boxes are perfect for kids interested in nature! The size is great for small critters, and the magnification is clear enough to get a good look at the bugs. They’re well-made and easy for kids to use. My only minor issue is that the lids don’t always snap on as securely as I’d like. Still, a fun and educational tool for young explorers!
