Extremely secure paracord lock!!!
Lock has a wedge/wide tooth inside with a strong spring to really lock 550 cord in place! Using the lock on a knife sheath leg tie so it can be adjusted and not have a bunch of extra cordage to snag on brush. Much more secure than simply tying a shoelace knot! If anyone has any issues with the spring not functioning properly(not unsprung), simply use a butter knife to unwedge the top of the spring from itself and you're good to go! Highly recommended over any other style if you want a very secure lock!

Sturdy feel, easy to use with cold hands
Cord locks have strong positive feel and are easy to operate even with cold hands. No signs of rust from springs yet (have not yet exposed them to salt water). This size a little large for pants draw strings (lump shows) but have worked well for everything else.

Top of the line
Yes they are pricey, but you get what you pay for. These hold very tight,as they should. That's why it's called a cord lock. I will use these on all my equipment. Great product.

Every stopper had a broken spring
Every single one had a problem with the spring, none of them worked. Total waste of money.

Quite strong for the size
Aty first I thought they were defective, it's good that they added a note that they're locked and need to be released before use. They're quite strong for the size and a good value.

These Things Work!
When they arrive , it may look like they don't work because the spring is "locked". U have to do a one time hard press till u hear a click. It "unlocks" the spring...THEN they are ready to use.They have instructions included. They DO work

To Strong
They will hold a cord tightly. I have purchased these through a different source and these require quite a strong grip to push against the spring. I have barely the finger strength to use them. I had found a few of the previous ones that I used in the past and utilized those instead. They are easier to use, having a softer spring and still hold sufficiently. This purchase I could not use.

Does the Job
Bought these cord locks to replace some that had broken. Have only had them a couple of weeks. So far they’ve worked well. Good tension. No failures or defects.The cord locks come locked in an open position. One has to follow the directions on the package to unlock them so that they will clamp on the cord.Would buy again. Recommended.
