Product does have a strong odor out of the box but not effective to deter pest/vermin destroying my yard. Placed half the box in different places of my dirt and in tunnels then watered to spread the deterrent. All it did was cause more tunnels to appear elsewhere so I placed the last half of box in that area. Still having activity if not escalated more. Says safe for humans and pets yet gives a warning to keep children and pets away from it.

First thing I will say is careful when opening the bag to place these in. There is some residual powder on this. It definitely has a bit of an odor to it so I assume these keeps away some pest. I mostly got this to keep gophers out of my lawn. So far it has worked pretty well. You do have to bury it a little bit but it does not have to be too deep. My dog tends to avoid these areas too so that is a good sign. She does not like the smell. I am not entirely sure how it works but it has not effected my grass growth. It does wear down with watering and such so do not expect these to last forever. I have no idea if it will effect things like fruit trees and vegetable gardens so just note that. I only use this really for my grass area. The balls are easy to place. I still wear gloves even though it is said to be safe. The ball has a powder feel to it. I am not sure of the range of effect on these but it works great so far for my grass. Overall this has worked better than those noise machines. It does have an odor to it but my dog avoids it which is great. You do have to put it a little bit into the ground but at least it does not effect the grass growth. Again I am not sure how much it will effect fruit trees and vegetable.

This product is not natural! It is moth balls and smells to high heaven! Very deceptive advertising about it being natural. Save your money

These smell extremely strong which would be OK if they worked. I used several of them and a gopher still ate my whole veggie garden

After steategically placing the little green balls right into the mound where they came up & burying with ease about 6" to 8" deep and satirating with water so ingredients soak into earth the quality of the ingredients increased performance. Easy to use. No strong or offensive smells. Excellent value. Strong fast acting formula really works to help strengthen your lawn!

Didn’t work. Had to return.

Moles seem to be gone.

The chipmunks just moved the balls out of their path. Balls smell like giant mothballs and shouldn't be used anywhere near people or pets.
