Stadler Form tower fan Peter, energy-efficient and quiet with 29 dB(A), with remote control, swing function, 6 speed levels, 7-hour timer, dimmable LEDs, suitable for the bedroom (White)

I decided to replace my aging Lasko tower fan that looks old fashioned and has developed a rattle and my Rowenta pedestal tower fan that is large and unattractive with buttons that are wearing out. I also have a Dyson AM09 heater/fan combo that works terrible as a fan - it’s loud and moves little air.I ended up choosing this Stadler Form Peter fan for a handful of reasons:*uses a DC motor so much more energy efficient and quieter than many other fans*looks much more streamlined in appearance over other tower fans - definitely over pedestal fans*has a washable/vacuumable filter on the back air inlet to minimize dust that enters and cakes on the interior/blades*touch buttons on the units top and includes a remote*taller so works well for cooling at bed level*six fan speed settings for more options*reviews are high on this company’s other models of fans*fair priceI’m extremely happy with the unit. It looks great - much better and cleaner looking than other fans out there. The base is solid metal and is much smaller than the base on other fans. The touch controls on top are responsive and make a small blip sound upon tapping them. The remote works great and slides into the back of the unit securing in with a magnetic connection. The unit moves a lot of air and at feet away is very quiet up to level 3. At the higher settings it moves a ton of air but is louder - if the unit is across the room, it will sound relatively quiet compared to other fans. Arrived in well protective packaging. I purchased a 2nd unit after receiving my 1st order!

This fan has been a major disappointment. It’s supposed to run continuously when the timer isn’t set, but mine randomly shuts off for no reason. That defeats the whole purpose of having it. The only reason I’m keeping it is because it doesn’t trigger my asthma like other fans do, unlike my Dyson, which makes me sneeze nonstop. If you don’t have allergies, I’d recommend skipping this frustrating fan altogether. This happened only a few days after purchasing, so Iwas able to order a replacement. Let’s hope the next one is not defective.

I actually have four of these. Two are the older version, and two the current (as of 2024). The newer revision (a different SKU) has six strength levels rather than the old one's three, and has a new magnet on the remote to click it into its docking bay. Before, medium and high were too loud to use regularly. With the new revision I can use two of the six levels before it starts to sound like a jet engine. I also like the new sound effect that replaced the plain old beep, although it's harder hear above the din. My minor quibbles are that I wish it would use the strength as the maximum in random mode, since it's otherwise hard for me to relax when its gentle breeze randomly turns into a raging hurricane. My biggest complaint that dings two stars is that the front blue light doesn't automatically turn off any more, so I am subjected to blue light at bedtime unless I manually turn the lights off, which is a two-stage long button press. After four months of use, this is sufficiently annoying that if they were to fix this by restoring the automatic turning off of the front lights, I would give it five stars. Additional areas of improvement is to make it remember the last swing mode and LED brightness rather than resetting them each time I turn it on. Overall, I like its Richard Sapper-esque design (it will look great with your ThinkPad 701c), metal base, its remote, and its functionality, although it is on the pricey end for sure. I don't know if it's worth $200, but it's worth ~$150 for which it's frequently available. I've seen it as low as ~$130.

I was in need of an energy efficient fan with variable speeds. So when I saw this fan I had to give it a try.Other fans I have used will draw so much energy that it blows the breaker. This one has not and I have run it everyday for the past several weeks. I love that it has several fan speeds and it also has another feature that is like 'wind' that blows as the fan speed almost pulses from high to low as if the wind is blowing, interesting feature.Seems to be well made and is very quite. It is a bit pricier than other fans I have purchased but maybe that is why I have had issues with them. And as a bonus it has a remote control that so so well hidden it took me a while to find it, lol.

This tower fan is outstanding! It has such a mass amount of air flow, it has touch buttons. that are easy to use, it has a beautiful Sleek design that looks great with my decor! It comes with a remote has a swing type of oscillation, has six mode settings, 7 hour timer, and I don't even have to scream over it to speak to anyone! It's virtually quiet it only reaches 29 decibels at its noisiest which to me is phenomenal! This fan will absolutely blow your hair back!

This slim modern design tower fan from Stadler is a perfect way to push cool air around your room of choice. It works extremely quietly while having a remote control for speed, on/off, and oscillating. The remote fits perfectly in the back, so you never lose it or are looking for it. The base is heavy duty and the tower itself is high quality. This fan is perfect for any room. The air filter is easy to dislodge, clean and put back in the base. Great high fan that will make you impressed with technology!
