GROHE taps are known for their build quality and this tap continues the trend.I’ve always liked the quality of the finish, the taps feel heavy, well built, the chrome plating is thickly plated with no signs of the base metal shining through, so often cheaper taps you see some base metal machining or polishing marks below, not with GROHE.I particularly liked the lever action design, the cold / blue indices dot is centre with hot being to the left hand side of the lever head, that lever doesn’t move to the right, rather in the centre alignment its in full cold position, then move 90 degrees left for full hot water.The 2 flexi tails are pre installed, a twin ended robust fitting tool is supplied that helps tighten the underside tap body clamp nut and the 3/8” flexi hose connector nuts.IF YOU ALREADY HAVE 15MM WATER FEED CONNECTIONS YOU NEED TO BUY SEPARATELY 2 X ADAPTERS FOR THE 3/8” FLEXI HOSES. (Not dear around £3 for a pack of 2)The click style pop up waste is nicely finished, most of the body is plastic withe the chrome parts metal, some adjustment is available for ensuring it seals closed. The waste body is slotted should your basin have an internally moulded overflow. I found that the 2 seals provided with the waste worked well, no silicone or additional sealant was required when fitting the waste.The price for the is tap was excellent value, be careful when looking around as some taps don’t come with pop up wastes. Most importantly you get no drips, the water turns off instantly, no water hammer sounds.One other consideration when looking at various brands, is the availability of spares, come the time it needs servicing, many cheaper known brands either don’t offer spares easily, or they discontinue the model or brand leaving openers without support in the future!

Bought for a bathroom refurbishment. Well made tap that's sturdy and smooth operating. Mid range price-wise, so better quality than cheap Chinese imports, but not the silly money of designer taps

Easy fitting, using same connections as previous tap. We have a low pressure system and I was delighted to find the flow rate was twice as fast. Nice smooth operation. All in all I’m very pleased with it.

Bought this a bit said low pressure. But it only goes down to 0.5 bar. Not low enough for gravity system.Should have returned.

Seems quality, nice and heavy with a good finish. Beware this has 3/8" connections you will need adapters ( few pounds) to fit to standard uk 1/2" fittings

I recently replaced the old taps with Grohe and they work rather nicely. Nice chromed brass and smooth action for not a lot of money.But - plastic waste (both click/clack or pop-up versions) that is rather flimsy. Cost cutting? Yiu can get a nice metal one for similar money elsewhere.Note 3/8 pipes so you either need adapters or need new idolation valves with 3/8 output. This also means that high pressure (mains) is preferred as otherwise flow is restricted.You can remove the spout filter and remove some of the filters there or even make the water holes a bit bigger with pins/tiny drill if the flow is still low. I have done this and it works fine on upper floors, ground floor has enough pressure even gravity fed for this to not be needed.All in all it is good value, for Uk could be better with 1/2 larger pipes not 3/8 but it is what it is.

Fitted to our en-suite basin. Easy to fit, followed instructions with no problems during fitting. This is a really good premium tap. The description write-up is very impressive for this product, I am very impressed, especially with the cool feel as the tap structure does not become hot when in use and the aerated flow is quiet with very little to no splashback. Excellent quality product.
