This is what i have done i spend my money on other dash cam for example “ nr 1 dash cam in the uk “ turn out it was rubbish, crashhing all the time, the wifi was not working at all, i found chip ones better then that one.This s1 pro dash cam is very good cuality build , also very good resolution, any camera from them with the last chip starvis 2 i think they do good job , i just decided this is for me and it is . Get it with confidence.I will try to unpload some recording , but i don t think you will be able to see the actual quality if the video , i have watch the same recording on diferit phone , one phone has hdr and another do not have , and i can see the diference. In terms if quality video if the screen u use has hdr i think you are able to wach at full potential. Other dash cam i had could not see the signs , name of the shops around , nothing , with this you can visualize allmost everything, night visual is working great. I m being using this for couple days now and i m gratefull , also the wifi conection 5g is working great the app si very easy to use . Worth it. I wish i could do a better revew, but i have no words. I m just too happy with this dash cam.

I was always a Nextbase buyer but I've had a couple fail on me so was looking for a cost effective replacement and settled on this model from Vantrue. Its beautifully made and well presented in the box. Fitting was a cinch and the app is easy to use and the initial set up. Recorded video and audio are superb and the 5Ghz WiFi makes downloading clips really quick. I use a polarising filter on the lens and on this model the angle of the lens is adjustable which is pretty rare on dashcams. I would happily recommend this model and will certainly buy another Vantrue when the need arises.

Really easy installation. Clear instructions. Wish it was bundled with a memory card out of the box. The packaging is very well designed and high quality. The cables really good length and the camera quality and app are top notch. Very happy with the night vision from Starvis 2 as well.

I had high expectations for the Vantrue S2 Dashcam, especially considering its high price tag. Unfortunately, it failed to deliver on multiple fronts. Despite the hype around the STARVIS 2 sensor, I noticed no significant improvement in video quality as opposed to my old dash cam. The front camera, recording at 2560x1440 at 60fps, is unable to clearly capture number plates, which is incredibly frustrating. The back camera is even worse at 1920x1080 at 30fps, offering subpar performance that’s simply not acceptable for a device at this price point. Overall, I expected much better quality and functionality.

Having used a VANTRUE dashcam for a while, I decided to upgrade to the S1 Pro mainly for the built in WiFi. This dash cam has far exceeded my expectations and I am very pleased with the recording quality. Easy to install and looks good too. If you looking for a great dash cam for a great price don’t look any further.

Early days yet but can already tell is better than the nextbase it replaces. Good rear camera that does not turn pink like nextbase camera did. Unit itself is a little on the big side but has so many more features that work really well like the app and GPS. Time will tell but at the moment it works.
