Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Shampoo, Balances Moisture + Adds Shine, For All Hair Types, Especially Fine + Static-Prone Hair

I love Paul Mitchell products, and Amazon makes them affordable with this big bottle. It's a year's worth for me, and my hair never felt so soft and thick. I started using it because my scalp itched all the time - this shampoo and the leave-on conditioner have fixed that! I've 65 years old, my hair still feels and looks good, my scalp feels good.

Easy to pour, large quantity of my Awapuhi shampoo. Strong container, will not break easily. Love my Awapuhi shampoo. It makes my hair shine & lifts the dirt & grease out without affecting my scalp. I only need to use a little bit to get the job done. (Of course, my hair is short, but it has a lot of product in it before I shampoo it.) Can't say enough about this shampoo. And the larger quantity costs less than the smaller bottles.

I found this to be a great shampoo. My hair felt clean as well as leaving my hair softer and moisturized. The smell is great. They should make the scent in candles and other products

I have a young friend who , as a child, would use oil from ginger flowers in her yard to rinse her hair.What with climate change and all there are not as many flowers as they used to be, so I bought her a bottle of Paul Mitchell awapuhi shampoo. Awapuhi is a white ginger flower which has oil that drips out of it and you can also get it from mushing up the stem.She and her sisters are absolutely absolutely delighted. Every time I see her she shows me how shiny and smooth her hair hair is with a big smile on her face.Paul Mitchell’s products have always been perfect for me and I have used them since they came out many years ago

Plan on pouring this shampoo into a pump dispenser rather than dispensing from the flimsy plastic bag that it is delivered in. Because there is no way to dispense this shampoo from its bag without losing half of it through dribbling. Even worse, I made the mistaken of not screwing the cap back onto the bag. Then half the shampoo dribbled out of the bag onto the shower stall. A total waste of my purchase.

First time using any Paul Mitchell products so here goes! While I've got lots of hair, living in a dry desert climate with baby fine hair is a recipe for flyaways & static. Add to that a somewhat oily scalp & that's trouble.Note:1) To accurately assess results of the shampoo I used it alone w/o any conditioner first time. For shampoo alone, it did lessen the flyaways and the static--much to my surprise. When I shampooed again, I used the Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Conditioner & noticed a definite reduction in flyaways & static.2) Lathers up easily and does a great job cleansing hair. Plus a small amount of product goes a long way.3) I'm not a fan of fragrance & this shampoo has a fresh scent that's not overpowering & dissipates quickly.4) No need to shampoo as often which is a plus for fine hair. And, no itchy scalp a day or two after shampooing.5) Was able to purchase as a limited time deal but even at full price it's a great value for the money.

I had hair that would get greasy super fast. I started using this shampoo and now I can go so much longer between hair washes.

I love this shampoo. I have been using for 30 years. I have stopped using a few times, but I always go back to this one. My hair always feels great when just washed. I also always use the Paul Mitchell leave in conditioner with it. Love. Of course I will order again.
