The Flower Gingham design is SO adorable on this tamagotchi. The “software” is just like the original version from 1997 — same buttons, screen, functions, and beeps.The tiny manual is surprisingly clear and complete. It thankfully includes directions for muting your tama, which I think most people miss, as it’s toward the end of the booklet.- TO MUTE/UNMUTE, hold the A button and press C.- TO RESET THE CLOCK, press B for the clock to appear, and then hold A and press C. The clock will go into SET mode.I got my tama from Amazon warehouse deals. It was dead on arrival and had obvious pen marks on the reset button, and I was afraid it was broken — but fortunately it just needed a new battery, which I replaced. Then I pressed the B button, and the infamous pulsating egg appeared! I was in business! YES! MY FIRST TAMA!The babies need lots of frequent attention, feeding, and games, with occasional toilet flushing and medicine. The baby stage lasted for about two hours for me, and then it transformed into a toddler. As they grow older, they require less attention.They automatically go to sleep between 8:00-11:00 pm and wake up between 7:00-11:00 am, depending on age. If this is a problem for your work/school/sleeping schedule, just reset the clock on the tamagotchi so it better corresponds with your preferred hours. (I did so, and it works great.)Definitely recommend for anyone who wanted an OG tamagotchi but never had one, or if you lost yours and want to relive the late ‘90s!

This one is exactly like my very first tamagotchi back in the 90s which brings back a lot of memories! Such a great find

Directions are pretty straightforward, and the quality of the toy is fine for the price point. As advertised, it is like a pet that needs care, so when my kid is in school, someone else has to take care of it. We've had this "pet" for three weeks now and everyone in the family has taken turns taking care of it. It really only needs attention a few times a day so not a big deal. The "pet" grows and changes every couple of days so that has helped keep my son interested.

Nothing is wrong with it. It is amazing.

I bought this Tamagotchi for my nine-year-old and she had such a blast taking care of it. The battery however, only lasted about four months. I’m sure it’s easy to change, but I have not tried yet. Nine years is the perfect age for a toy like this

Bought this for my 8 year old nephew and he absolutely loves it. It's so cool that he enjoys something I myself played with when I was a kid.

I love this for the nostalgia of it. I bought two of them, one for each of my daughters. The game is not good. Its a guessing game where you guess which side the tamagotchi is going to look. Very pointless, no skill or strategy to win. Its simply guessing and isn't very fun. Taking care of it is easy enough without playing the game by giving meals for hunger and snacks for happiness. You also clean it poop and give it medicine when it gets sick. Mine seem to die about once a week assuming from old age since they are taken care of. I wonder if the game function were used if that would make it lifespan longer. I also can never get the discipline level all the way up. It doesn't call out unnecessarily enough to discipline it much. I think its a little overpriced for what you get out of it. I would have preferred a $10 or maybe $15 price point. While I do like the nostalgia of this one, I prefer my hello kitty tamagotchi to these. The Hello Kitty one is smaller in size, but it has better graphic, while still retaining the nostalgic pixelated screen, the sounds are better, the games are better, and it doesn't just die when you take care of it well for so long, the tamagotchi goes on vacation with Hello Kitty when its life span is reached.

O produto é original o mesmo Tamagotchi dos anos 90, só com com uma nova roupagem no Design de sua carcaça para deixar ele mais moderno aos dias atuais. Mesma jogabilidade e já vem incluido uma bateria nele mesmo pronto para o uso. Como também seu clássico manual. O melhor de tudo é a apresentação da caixa que é decorada com várias ilustrações realmente muito bonita, Bandai Namco está de parabéns.

I purchased this as a gift for my niece so I don't have a picture but she loves it! It takes me back to when I was younger and had them myself! Of course now both of my girls have asked for them from the Easter bunny so we will be getting 2 more!
