Yes, I am a male with I would say medium fingers. I slid my wedding band over the prong and it went all the way down. It would maybe hold 30 rings? keep in mind, these are about 5" x 5" and weigh about 3 pounds. They are cast iron, so I would put something under them if you put them on a dresser or something.

I'm using them on interior doors and they are heavy enough to keep those doors open and decorative too.
