Q: What size pipe (diameter) fits the quick connect coupling on the filter unit please?

Does one mean what is the pipe size to the filter bowl housing that these filters fit into.. The answer is 6mm to the filter housing depending on the type of housing on has. Better still contact Edward at water filters uk they are the best and that is where I obtained my filters and housing. Hope this is of help

Q: What size microns can these filter?

They do not have a micron filter rating it contains activated charcoal made from coconut shell carbon to remove low levels of Chlorine and other Organic compounds used to absorb odour, colour and other such particles it’s best used in a 3 stage filtration system. I have one of these along with A 5 micron Carbon Block CTO Water Filter and a 10" PP Sediment 1mic Sediment Particle Reverse Osmosis Water Filter Cartridge. For good measure. Hope this helps

Q: What is max flow rate?

Hi Timothy, I do not know the maximum flow rate for the filter as it depends on your water supply pressure and pipe diameter. My filter pipe work is 8 mm O/D flexible tubing connected to the mains water supply. With a new filter installed the flow rate to fill a one litre bottle is about 15 seconds (four litres per min). I purchased these filters due to the mains water quality in the area of Lincoln uk that I live is very poor with bad taste and odour, these filters lasted about 1 month before the bad taste ond odour returned. I have purchased a new filter housing (due to my original one exploded at 2am) and filter from UK WATER FILTERS they are the best I have ever used. No loss of water pressure and last 1year before changing brilliant cost about £16 but well worth the cost
