I used to wear a lot of Nikes but began discovering other brands lately. This is my first pair of Asics and I have to ask myself how on earth did i miss them in the beginning? The first impression is great. The upper is full of rich and buttery soft suede, not like the Saucony Shadow 5000 i bought a year ago, thin and rough. The width is standard and fits me perfectly without any pressure points right out of box. There was no, or very short break-in period. although these are just a pair of retro sneakers with no advance technology, they do provide a very comfortable ride, the midsole even gives me a bit springy feel, while the heel GEL cushions very well at the same time. These are not the kind of shoes that give you the instant soft feel under your feet when you put on, which your legs may sore after long walks or standing at the end of the day. They are very supportive like a well made mattress that has innersprins at bottom and a layer of gel/wool on top that offers a good night sleep and less back pain. Considering the price I regret not buying these earlier! I am a Asics' fan now!!! The only gripe is that the colorway is so beautiful that i have to keep them as clean as possible.

I like them. I am always looking for a new color for the collection. Comfortable and look great. Cheap in comparison to other brands.
