At time of review, this kit is reduced to just £6.99 from its usual price of £9.99. When you consider how long it will take to paint and factor in how much enjoyment you are likely to get from the finished painting, you could be paying mere pennies for years of pleasure. I love a bit of kitschy religious art so couldn’t resist this paint by numbers kit, which is the third I have had now from the Tishiron brand. It includes a printed canvas, reference images, all your paints, 3 brushes, and some basic hardware for hanging ( the later being a bit superfluous in my opinion since the finished canvas will still need to be stretched or mounted to finish). With a bit of water for “flow”, the paints and brushes work well enough and you are more or less guaranteed to get a good result, as long as you keep reasonably close to the indicated lines! I do struggle a bit with a wobbly hand and my eyesight isn’t what it used to be, but this is still shaping up very nicely and I do find I can lose happy hours absorbed in the process of painting.
