Beautiful craftsmanship
I was genuinely excited when this 51mm bottomless portafilter arrived — it looked and felt like a high-end espresso accessory James Bond might use on his day off. The stainless steel basket is solid and well-made, and the walnut handle? Smooth, elegant, and frankly, nicer than some of the furniture in my house.the espresso extraction process, which, if you've never seen it, is equal parts science, art, and magic. It made me feel like a true home baristaSadly, I had to return it because I ordered the wrong size for my machine. Completely user error — not the portafilter’s fault. But if you do have a compatible 51mm machine, I can’t recommend this enough. Just make sure to double-check your measurements, unlike me.In short: great product, wrong portafilter, still worth the five star

The portafilter that could
Bought this portafilter to level up the espresso from our De’Longhi ECP3420 and have been perfectly pleased with the results. It’s a fine budget option that is holding up well so far.

Had some issues with it but the seller took care of it.

Fits perfectly on my Delonghi Stilosa
Works great. Feels great. Stout enough to serve as a handy weapon to use against intruders intent on stealing my espresso machine. Best of all, it makes better tasting coffee than the portafilter with the little pressure fitting that came with my machine. I can get a decent amount of crema with it so far but I'm still refining my technique. No sealing problems whatsoever.

Leaking even with thorough troubleshooting
Still spraying everywhere, cannot make a shot of espresso with this.I tried this product because it is completely stainless steel and wanted to avoid the plastic in the portafilter that comes with our DeLonghi machine. After several weeks of trouble shooting every possible problem, we've finally given up. This portafilter sprays the espresso everywhere, making it impossible to collect a shot. We tried experimenting with the amount of beans, the type of beans, the grind size, the timing, cleaning the machine, cleaning the portafilter, E V E R Y T H I N G. No luck. We will not waste our time on this anymore.

Adjustments are required
After some adjustments of dose and grind level it works just fine. Must have very fine grinded coffee and hard tamping to get the pressure optimal.I have a De'Longhi spesialista arte evo and it fits perfectly.

Beautiful crafted piece, OK espressos
Beautiful looking piece, no doubt about it. The part that i am a bit disappointed is how it pulls a espresso, the original porta-filter that came with my La Specialista machine pulls great espressos with a thick crema, a much reacher flavor. I compared both filters and it appears that the my old one has tighter little holes.Beautiful piece, not as good espressos.

No issues on a 2023 Gaggia Classic Pro Evo
Everything worked well fit-wise. No issues with leaking or griding mating surfaces. It's just a hair looser than the stock portafilter, but still locks in at 6 o'clock.I went back and forth between this and the stock portafilter basket and ended up using this one. Only gripe is that between the retention lip in the basket and the retention spring, it takes quite a bit of force to remove (not so with the Gaggia stock basket). Still have a busted knuckle from my first attempt at removal. The fit/finish of the handle is very reasonable for the price. I liked the handle off my old 3-eared 51mm CAPFEI bottonless portafilter, and sure enough, it uses the same threads to attach to the filter body, so I was able to swap it without a problem.Disregard other peoples' comments about "coffee spraying everywhere." Sorry folks, but that's a skill issue. Watch a few videos on dialing in your grind if you run into that problem. The point of a bottomless portafilter is to see what's going on, and in their case, the goings on are a mess.
