Get it!
Absolutely brilliant!! It was my first time attempting to cultivate a hard soil and I had no experience. Soil in my dog park is mainly clay and I wanted to sow some grass. There was no way I could dig it up and turn over as the area is huge. This tool has exceeded my expectations million times! It’s very powerful and did an excellent job! Two batteries last longer than my arms too so I’m very very happy in every aspect! It does bounce on the hard soil at first so you need a bit of stamina to use it but it’s worth it!

Ok for using on light soil
Wasn't impressed at first, the machine is so light and looks a bit flimsy, however on using it on my allotment I've changed my mind! It did a great job of knocking some rough dug soil into a good tilth ready for planting, just be aware that it may struggle on heavy land, the soil on my allotment is quite soft, I got just over an hour on the battery charge which was plenty of time to complete the job, so in short a great bit of kit!

Surprised and lots of benefits
Ok, so realistically this won’t ‘rotavate’ the whole allotment but it does a very good job of it in several steps. It’s battery but last a good 40 non stop (note Einhell batteries are very quick to charge so no waiting for 8 hours - less than an hour in my experience). This machine is light and whilst that’s good I felt it needed some weight to press down into the soil. It worked better on a slight angle cutting into soil. Seems best to manually dig roughly then go over the soil twice when it’s reasonably dry - result it great. I’ve used Einhell for a while but while I cannot testify to longevity their reliability and power are you excellent as well as price when on offer.

Excellent!
I would highly recommend this product. I wouldn’t normally post reviews but felt compelled to do so.The product was very straightforward to assemble, I did this on my own and took approximately 15-20mins.I charged the batteries (2x4.0) and inserted them into the body of the product. The batteries took approx 1 hours to charge from empty (this device didn’t ship with batteries so ordered separately).I had previously cleared the ground I wanted to turn over, I strimmed the grass back and cleared any roots etc. I started the machine up and immediately I could see the ground was easily being turned over, I found the machine would work better being pulled back towards me rather propelled forward. The machine is pretty powerful and you do need a little strength to control the direction of the machine (I am 49 and found it fairly easy to manage). One point to note is the machine spikes will get wrapped around with any vines, ivy roots etc. I stopped every 5 minutes or so and easily cleared any overgrowth that had wrapped around the spikes. The two 4.0 batteries lasted for both areas I cleared in the photos. This product is excellent and I highly recommend.

Fantastic, works well at the allotment
bought for light tilling at an allotment, and so far is working very well. Remember to spray oil after cleaning the blades to stop corrosion in storage.

No charger or battery included! What a cheat!
I ordered this product because the reviews were so positive. It’s arrived in double quick time. However, the box stated ‘no battery or charger included’!That’s an extra large cost on the amount I have already spent on a machine, which won’t work until I buy a battery and charger! So the motivator is not the bargain I thought it was at all. And I haven’t even tried to see if it works yet because guess what? There is no battery!

I am a pxc fanboy, so the review may be a little biased.
For the price it is well placed as a cordless tiller. I could have bought a cheaper cable one, but I am inherently clumsy and nearly cut through many cables in my life, that and I have a largish garden with 6 annual beds that take an age to hoe by hand. It took me 3 days to properly hand hoe the beds as the start of this season, after I bought this, I did the beds in 30 minutes. I have a growing collection of pxc tools that I've had for nearly a year, and so far I have been wholly impressed with the functionality of them (excepting a faulty ozito lawnmower). So it was a natural choice for me to go for this too. It's probably lighter than most ones, and it's not massively wide, but my beds are only 1m wide, which means I only have to sweep through them in three rows. I find the best way is to let it pull you forward to the end of the bed, dig it in and slowly walk backwards with it. The ground is churned up with ease.If you get long spnlindly plants, like grasses or bolted roots, they will tangle in the mechanism, eventually clogging it to the point it won't go, but that's probably something you shouldn't do anyway, i had tried to mulch in the stems but which I should have probably cut into smaller chunks first.Overall, I have been impressed and I hope I get many growing seasons from this. Now to sow some green manure seeds.
