Works great on our plasma table
I know this says it's for mach, but it does also work with linuxcnc. When it was first set up the controller was on a old Dell and the responsiveness of the jog dial was kind of laggy and slow. Needless to say when the old computer died and we moved the control software over to a newer computer with a i5 in it holy smokes this thing is way more responsive. Function wise it works great, given that I'm using linuxcnc and not mach. I just need to spend some time and program the buttons in the hal files to get them to do what I want.

Doesn't connect correctly
I really like the functionality and the quality of the build. However this is completely overshadowed by the 9 hours I spent trying to get this to work. I got it to work once with the buttons to turn my coolant on or off but I was never able to get it to jog the machine. I had the same issues with their previous version and finally gave up, and was hoping that this version would be better. It is no different and likely because it uses the same junk drivers. I am running mach3 on windows 10. I tried on a windows 7 machine and it had the same issues. I contacted the company for support and there was no response.

Works pretty good
Device is pretty simple to install.A little bit of latency, and it sometimes causes my computer to lock up in Mach3. Still, it works well if I donβt interrupt my programs a lot, and the device is easy to reset.

NOT compatible with my CAM software but L-Star Motor is fantastic!
I would like to add to this review and a COMPLIMENT to L-Star Motor. They reached out to me and apologized for any issue with the product and resolved VERY favorably - GREAT customer support and if you buy something from them, buy with confidence! While it seems to connect with the wireless (itself), I find out it is NOT compatible with my EDING CAM software... what a waste of money on my part and after buying a very similar unit waiting to see how it interfaces with my chosen Microsoft platform (SurfacePro). Obviously this industry is still in evolution...
