My husband got this for me and I absolutely love it. It rolls very nicely and height is easy to adjust. Very sturdy and well made. Assembly was a bit challenging but we got it together within an hour. Arrived on time and packaged very nicely. Highly recommended.

I have a few points mostly positive. One thing that i like the most is the sturdyness.. Just by feel and as product was assembled i know for a factthe material was machined properly. I do like the looks as well it has an elegant look and is very functional for most surfaces you place on the work area.Only drawback i think the wheels can use an upgrade they are below Harbor Freight quality. The screws have a lot to be desired for. a few were not machined to well so its very easy to strip out the head. but its very workable if you use caution and be gentle a tad. Other than that I would most likley recomend this product for any aspiring artist or non artist.I did rate all 5 across the board cause with these minor issues its stil worth the price to me. I bought this easel because I figured it would last a long time and would be large enough to use in an art studio when I move into a new one.This easel is BIG, really BIG. I don't think I read the specs correctly. The room I am using for my art space has a high ceiling and the top of this easel is only a couple of inches from hitting the ceiling. I'm mentioning this because I didn't pay close attention to the measurements when ordering. That said, I absolutely love this easel. It's made extremely well with a nice finish. It adjusts nicely and stays put however I adjust it. I'm really happy that I got this and it will probably outlast me. I put it together myself and the instructions were easy to understand.This easel is heavy and made from solid wood. I highly recommend this easel and it's definitely an investment that will last for years.

I received this as a gift almost a year ago. It took a little time, but it was not difficult for this ordinary, older person to assemble (mostly from a seated position!). It works beautifully and while I know there are higher quality easels that more accomplished painters aspire to, this works perfectly for my needs.

Finally, a frame my wife likes. We have bought several frames over the years and each one had something my wife hated. She decided to try this, and I sighed, but it really is nice. She loves how sturdy it is, how mobile it is and all the options it provides. I put it together in around 30 minutes. It is quite easy to change positions depending on your picture frame. 100% worth it.

The easel is great—sturdy, the perfect size, and well-designed. However, it arrived with the wrong piece, and one of the wheels keeps popping off. While Meeden has been quick to respond, they’ve sent the wrong part again. Unfortunately, it will take another 2-3 weeks to get the correct piece, which has been a bit frustrating. Update: they sent the knobs and they still don’t fit. I bought this easel almost 5 months ago. Incredibly frustrated that I don’t have the proper holder. There seems to be no consistency in the parts.

After looking on the websites of several of the major artist supply stores, and reading tons of reviews, and gaining what I could looking at the photos and descriptions of easels, I chose this one. I will have to say I fared very well with this order. For all I read about the inadequate instructions and broken parts etc, I received all working parts, no busted knobs or broken boards and so forth. I unpacked it, accounted for all the parts, laid them out more or less in order and looked at the instructions. I was definitely a bit nervous about what would come next until I realized that every single piece, including the little bags of knobs and all that hardware business, all of it had little numbered stickers on them. AND they matched up with the steps of the instructions!! Yes, the words were in a language foreign to me, but the drawings were actually quite accurate and this was sort of a marvel to me. As for the look of it, its really nice looking with the dark finish. There were a few tiny mars that didn't even scrape the finish off and there was one small spot that was scratched. That was it. It's fairly sturdy and the wheels are great. Free rolling even across carpet. Once I unlocked them that is. I am very happy with the purchase!
