With the built-in battery, these lights are perfect for travelling with and setup almost anywhere. They have magnets on the back for easy attachment as well as the standard light stand threaded connectors. Easy to control with the bluetooth app and a lot of granular control.The only drawback is that the battery drains even when powered down and put into storage so you have to allocate time to recharge the battery if they have been in storage for a while. Other than that, these are an excellent product and well worth buying.

This is a really handy and versatile light. I've got several other lights that are similar in form factor but they're significantly longer and heavier. This is a great size just to keep in your car or to throw in your suitcase when traveling. You've got the typical mounting points on the end but both ends are also magnetized to give you even more options. The light is nice and bright for photos and videos and you can also do a variety of colors and special effects. This is my first experience with the brand but based on this light I'm looking forward to seeing what else they come up with. Highly recommended!

I have this light as well as its competitor the Godox TL30. Performance wise the lights are pretty much equal in every aspect and amazing performers in all but one category. Unlike the Godox light, this Amaran has bad battery life. On a shoot I tend to get maybe an hour worth of usage from the Amaran while i can easily double or even triple that with the godox. When not in use and after both are fully charged, after about a week the Amaran will be dead while the Godox is still charged

I got this for my RGB needs in my studio. I used it as background light for contrast and it works great. Easy to understand. Simple menu and an amazing app to enhance your control. It is well made you can tell. I have something similar from another manufacturer as the quality is like night and day not to mention the magnetic touch to it. I am loving it.
