A good alternative
My cat recently had surgery, and this was my 3rd attempt to find something to keep him from bothering the stitches that also let him do normal things. This was more successful than a plastic cone or a soft cone. He was comfortable sleeping in it. He could walk around and get into the litter box. He could eat. It did get wet because he couldn't seem to figure out how to drink in anything I tried, but I just stuck the cover in the dryer for a few minutes. He really didn't try to lick the stitches often, but this prevented him when he tried. His incision was on his belly near his back leg. He weighs 9.4lb, and the smaller size just fit him. He did get it off a couple times, but I had it a little loose. He also got his front leg through it once, but he didn't seem bothered after the first day.

Comfortable and effective
This collar is soft material and easily inflatable to the level needed. It has been very helpful in preventing my dog from accessing their treatment areas after spaying, etc. The instructions could be better, as it does not note that the dog’s normal neck collar goes through the loops of the inflatable collar to keep it from being pulled off by the dog. My dog came to like it just fine. Pretty solid product that holds the air very well.

Works and is cute
It is cute, perfect size for small dogs, keeps the dog from licking the stitches and looked more comfortable since it is soft.

Good product, better than the cone of shame
I would have given 5 stars but my dog kept taking her head out of it.I was very pleased with it, as was my dog, because the cone of shame was uncomfortable for her.She could eat food and drink water, and easily fall asleep, but when she would go through the banister on the stairs to access the couch she would squeeze her head out, but could not take the cone of shame off in the same way.The size of the product was perfect, but my dog doesn’t have a huge head. She’s a terrier, so i think big headed dogs will have no issue with this product

Amazing after surgery dog collar
Love the grey color, easy to inflate, the fabric is soft and washable, did not leak and great price. My dog tolerated this collar much better than the standard plastic collar and was able to sleep better through the night. However and because it's fabric instead of plastic, my dog did get warm with it on because she's got fluffy hair /thick coat.

Not Bad, But Didn’t Fully Do the Job
The donut collar is soft, lightweight, and much more comfortable for my dog compared to the traditional plastic cone. He was definitely less stressed wearing it. However, the biggest issue is that it didn’t actually stop him from reaching his surgical site. My dog is a small Maltese, and he was still able to twist around and lick the wound on his lower body. I had to end up switching back to the hard cone to make sure he healed properly. This collar might work better for upper body or neck wounds, but for anything lower, it’s just not enough protection. It’s okay for short-term use or for calm dogs, but definitely not a full solution.

A Much Kinder Alternative to the Cone of Shame
I bought the Loflaze Soft Inflatable Dog Cone Collar for my dog after he had minor surgery, and it worked really well. Compared to those stiff plastic cones, this one is much more comfortable for him—he could eat, lie down, and sleep without constantly bumping into things. It inflates quickly and holds air without any issues. The velcro strap made it easy to secure, and I liked that it also has little loops so you can thread it through a regular collar for extra security. The fabric is soft and didn’t irritate his skin, plus I was able to wipe it clean easily. My dog didn’t seem bothered by it at all, and he definitely preferred this over the traditional cone. One thing to note: if your dog has a long snout, you’ll still want to monitor him, as he might be able to reach around the collar depending on where the injury is. For most situations, though, this is a great solution.Really happy with this—much gentler and less stressful for recovery time.

Lifesaver
This was a lifesaver for my little girl! After having dental surgery, was sent home with a large plastic cone around her neck and the vet told me that she needed to wear it for a month. After watching her discomfort on trying to sleep and getting caught up in the bushes and flowers i decided to see what alternatives were out there.Night and day difference! She can’t tear out her stitches and she’s comfortable! Great product!
