Had to cut part off to make it work
Bought for Arlo Pro 2. For some reason, the charger comes with a lip on one side of it so it couldn’t plug in and stay in the camera to charge. Once I cut it off, it stayed in fine. Bit of a design flaw and takes hours to charge the camera.

Good product - could be longer length?
Product arrived on time and works and does exactly what it says!I thought when I ordered it that 6.1m would be more than enough for my application. However the range quoted for the Arlo is very optimistic - the camera is located approximately 6m from the base station with 1 brick & thermalise wall and 2 stud walls in the way. Yet the signal strength at the camera is just good enough. I would have liked to mount it further away but it was not possible. Also when you are messing about on ladders, the ladders do affect the signal strength at the camera until they are moved away.It would be slightly more useful if the cable was about 10m rather than the 6.1m - it is exactly as described but it would give me a few more options with a longer cable. It’s only passing DC so I can’t think it would be a problem to produce one that is longer?Quality of cable and connectors is good, no complaints.

Does what it says on the tin
Cable works as it should BUT you will need to drill a 12mm hole in your house if you want to go through the wall in order to get the connector through. This is an enormous hole for an 8mm wide flat cable - having a detachable cable end would solve this problem. (note - the cable can be taken through the seal of a window without drilling, but I think this looks messy)

Good system - minor niggles
The base unit and camera were easily installed and setup. My main issue is that once the camera is mounted outside it is usually in a location out of reach. If for some reason the system needs to be reset the camera has to be dismounted in order to remove the battery and carry out a re-sync. Surely there must be a way of doing a reset from the base unit.

Good quality
Good quality when adding with wall mount hard to attach mount as cable comes in the way

Arlo pro weatherproof cable
I have only just been testing the lead and here are the observations -1. will not fit with a mounting device2. tight good fit and from the app charging only up to 82% with netgear plug -don't know why as I have left it for over 12 hours ...but if I swapped it with netgear original lead and charging will reach 100% - please explain why ??3. I have not mounted outside yet but wiring should be hidden within window framework4. still in testing stage indoors - ie now it is 100% charged and swapped back to weatherpoof cable to see if holds the charge and not dropping the battery level

Misleading....
As I'm sure you will know if you've purchased or about to purchase these, there are limited options available when you want to mount Arlo cameras outside but need to power them (unless you buy the over priced solar panel for every camera). Although a tad long for my needs by about 15ft, it seemed to fit the bill as I was powering from inside to out.One of my cameras is about 15ft up the side of the house covering the drive, another in the garden area. I did plan to purchase more and thought what a great idea these where, sadly it was not to be. They both worked for about two weeks with no problem; two days ago one camera started to exhibit the 'use a genuine charger' notification, the other a few days after just stopped charging the camera altogether. Swap the cables and/or charger everything works fine so these are definitely the problem.Needless to say they are being returned (albeit unboxed and not working) for a refund...which if I'm honest there is no point in returning them at all as they are only good for the bin....

This cable is great for everybody who hates changing the Arlo batteries
I have been looking for a cable like this for ages. My Arlos are facing a fairly busy road with lots of trigger events, which means that I need to change the battery every 20 days or so. All OEM accessories for Arlo are fairly expensive. The charging station currently retails for over 70 quid and the batteries for almost 70. By using this cable, I dont need either one of those item. The cable is fairly long and I can run it through my window where it connects to the camera. I have been using it without problems for a little more than a week now. When using the cable you have to use the Arlo AC adapter that comes with the camera. I have contacted Wasserstein and they said that they will start offering additional adapters shortly, but for now the Arlo adapter should do it. Overall I can wholeheartedly recommend this cable.
