No support - buy direct instead
Got an email with a link to click and get the gift card, link goes to an Amazon page with a page error, so cannot print or download code. 3 levels of Amazon support tell me I have to take it up with B&Q and nothing to do with Amazon, with what evidence as I do not gave a code! Save yourselves the hassle and buy direct from B&Q.

What a right royal pain don't bother, do a bank transfer instead
Bought my 80 year old mother back in the UK, who doesn't have an Amazon account, one for her birthday. Rather than deliver it by text, as it says it will, it gave her a picture of the card. She clicked on it and had to log into Amazon. The whole point is that it's supposed to be easy. So I had to send her MY login details, to login in the UK to my account as I'm in Ireland. Then Amazon, send me a confirmation code in Ireland that I had to send her in the UK for her to get the card.Why not just send her the gift card number? Why have me sending my details and confirmation codes through the ether? Would have been easier to do a bank transfer.Won't be doing this again. Would have given ZERO stars if I could.
