Very good book covering all theoretical and practical aspects of digital design.Thorough and clear explanations of theoretical foundations.The only drawback should be(with little emphasis) that because the book covers extensively the fundamentals of logic design, it dedicates less efforts to more complex and modern design tools.

This is a terrible book by any standard. It made me think of some of the British redditors who had complained about graduating with degrees in electrical engineering in the 1980s but not knowing anything practical. (This book was written a long time ago.) Gone is any relevant discussion of why certain systems even exist or how they are used. Instead, we get logic and absolutely nothing else. The chapter on flip flops was an absolute joke. Absent is any relevant discussion of why certain systems even exist or how they are implemented. Instead, we get logic and absolutely nothing else, a sort of theoretical phtsics approach to something that is quintessentially practical in nature. Even coming to this field quite familiar with most of the subject matter, I found the gratuitous use of symbols is needlessly dense and obtuse. You’re better off just watching Ben Eater on YouTube.

I was forced to getting this book as it was required for my course, for some concepts its comprehensible but for most of the time it's gibberish full of equations which are not explained. there are other book that are way better than this like Fundamentals of Logic Design by Roth. Unless you're forced to study from this I'd suggest using another book.

This book provides a great overview to all things digital, with clear explanations and some nice examples. This is a great reference book for a quick understanding of any logic device.

This book helped me revised thoroughly in this unit. The examples and explanations are really clear and easy to understand.
