Great product. No issues.
I've had this camera for a year now. It's a great camera. It does a really good job of tracking cars, people and pets. The night vision is very good too. No complaints. Easy install and setup. I would definitely recommend this camera to anyone looking for an outdoor camera that needs the ability to look around and to cover a larger area than a fixed camera can do.

Reolink Trackmix Wifi Cam rocks.
Trackmix Wifi Cam. I am impressed with the quality of this camera. The top metal built compared to others around this price range. Once you play with the settings and get it to a comfortable area in the settings I like the accuracy of the camera. Lots of settings to play with and adjust to your linking. Coming from an Enster camera this thing is way better. I also tried the Defender dual lense wifi camera and I returned it because of the inaccuracy of detection. I definitely will like some more of these

Motion detection and microphone way too sensitive
This camera replaces a Foscam PTZ camera that died twice on me in less than 3 years and I have to admit that the image quality and the field of view are an improvement. The installation was a breeze, thanks to the templates provided with the camera and the power extension which should come standard with any wifi camera. The network setup was also a breeze, no cumbersome network cable connection required, use the app, plug the camera, scan the QR code and that's it, no need to create an account at all. The tracking feature is awesome even though it has some difficulties to follow flocks of turkeys from above when they reach a matching background or following people wearing a hoody with no face visible. The microphone is extremely sensitive even with noise reduction set to the maximum, the wind will produce a lot of noise and sometimes even trigger false detections. The motion detection is also way too sensitive, even so that just a dust pushed by the wind or an insect flying by will trigger an event and you might find yourself flooded with false alarm notifications, there should be a setting to ignore any motion less than 1, 2, 5 seconds, my phone battery is draining too fast with all these useless notifications. The mobile apps are incomplete compared to the desktop app as you will need to use the desktop app in order to setup the camera for the use of a third party software such as Synology surveillance station. Connecting the camera to synology is not very difficult but you must enable a lot of protocols which you may not even use but are required in order to use the camera with it. The live view in synology surveillance station is working well but there are random times where I get the message that my computer cannot read the video from this camera even though it is an iMac M3 and the video was working fine for a few hours before. This does not happen within the Reolink app. A magic feature lies within the mobile app notification, when you tap on the notification of your choice and if there is an SD card in the camera, the correct recorded event will open. In other apps, when tapping a notification, you will have to search the event that triggered the notification, not here. I will see if this camera can stand the Connecticut outdoor weather and if so, I may change all my cameras for Reolink.Update 2 months in, 26 February, 2025:This camera could stand the cold this winter so far and I discovered the root cause of the weird message in Synology surveillance station which is absolutely not related to the video decoding but rather the wifi connection. Every time, there is a blip in the wifi connection, the message is displayed, I own another Reolink camera and it does the same. Overall I am currently satisfied with this camera even though I think that the dual lens is pretty useless and the tracking might need a bit of work to be 100% accurate. Every time there is a loud noise, an alert is created as an animal detection... When tracking vehicles, the camera always tracks the back of the vehicle, sometimes missing the front where a driver could pop out like Amazon/UPS delivery men/women and if the tracking has detected a vehicle and the driver gets out, the tracking does not follow the human, it is not even detected. Another annoying feature of the tracking is that it is very easily distracted by the background if the subject does not really pop out. I am finger pointing annoying features but the tracking system is nonetheless amazing most of the time. Now a really annoying issue is with the IR light located right above the lens which triggers way too many alerts when it rains, snows or it is foggy at night. I have to disable the IR sometimes to be able to see anything at all, thankfully I do have an IR projector close to the ground which helps when I switch the camera IR light. The picture attached shows a snowy night with camera IR light on which equates to a notification flood on my phone.

If I could only have one security camera then the REOLINK Trackmix WiFi would be it
First of all I had no problems installing the micro SD card because I used a phillips #1 screwdriver. Second of all the tracking works better than expected after experimenting with all the settings and doing a little reading on the REOLINK website. The picture quality is outstanding including the nighttime IR. The color night vision just means you are using the LED spotlight to illuminate the area which I will not be using but it’s a good feature to have regardless. You can turn on the spotlight or sound the alarm manually thru the app or client if you so desire or have everything on auto. The talk feature is horrible, it has an echo and isn’t very loud. If I don’t connect to the camera for a while using iOS sometimes the WiFi will fail but then it tries again automatically and connects in a second. Then if I load the app up again it will connect perfectly. Not sure if this minor glitch can be corrected with future firmware updates or if it’s an iOS problem that will require a future update. Either way it’s not that big of a deal but I figure I’d use this review to nitpick the small issues I found. The only feature lacking is the ability to setup a schedule for motion, pet, person, vehicle independently. As of now if you want to set a schedule for one then it affects them all. So this means if you don’t want something on then it has to be turned off completely. I know it’s hard to understand thru my words but for example if you want to turn off false alerts from moving tree branches or flying moths at night then you need to turn off motion completely and leave pet, person, vehicle on. Which isn’t really that big of a deal because what else can trigged motion that you would be interested in getting notified by? A UFO would probably be detected with the vehicle smart detection. Or a Sasquatch would be detected by the person or pet smart detection. So I feel like I’m covered. My problem with other cameras was having to check footage for no reason wasting my time. I do not have that issue with this camera as it does a very good job of only notifying important detections. You can have it automatically send you emails with each detection which provides a 25 second clip. You can also have it provide push notifications, but I find this overkill as the email does a good job at notifying me. For some reason they do not give you the free cloud service with this model which is kind of a bummer. They said they might change that in the future. But you don’t have to pay a monthly fee using the micro SD card or NVR. I’ve corresponded with support only once so far and the response didn’t answer all my questions so I will try again.Even though there are a few minor glitches and issues it seems they are fixable with future firmware and software updates. Hope to see improvements soon. So with that being said I would recommend this camera to anyone who wants to step it up.

Best brand for security cameras, balancing quality and cost
I've owned quite a few security cameras over the last 20 years and these are the best. High quality, integrates flawless and locally with Home Assistant and other smart home hubs, and have a ton of embedded features. Definitely the brand I will turn to consistently going forward.
