Square Cards/Envelopes (50pk 300gsm) - White - Packaging may Vary

*** UPDATED JULY 2024 - UNFORTUNATLEY THEY HAVE CHANGED THE STOCK SLIGHTLY SINCE I FIRST WROTE MY REVIEW - VERY SLIGHT COLOUR DIFFERENCE, SLIGHTLY MORE 'CALENDERED' AND THE ENVELOPES NO LONGER ALLOW FOR 'TUCK IN' CLOSURE (A REAL SHAME!) ***I have searched high and low for a 'true' 300gsm feel, blank card stock, if you know paper card stock well, you will know what a mean by 'nice flick'. This card has that 'nice flick' when you gently bend a corner and let it flick back. it has a smooth surface but has not been over 'calendered' (the process of smoothing and compressing the card). This card still has a nice 'bulk', when folded it stands well and firm.Also it has an attractive 'natural white' unlike most card stocks these days that include opticle brightners, chemical additives that refelct a bluish light, making it look bright white, like they use in many white washing powders.The envelopes are great quality, greetings card design, they have a deep V flap that allows for a 'tuck in' closure as well has gum sealed option. *** UPDATE JULY 2024 - UNFORTUNATELY THEY HAVE CHANGED THE ENVELOPES AND THEY ARE NO LONGER SUITABLE AS 'TUCK IN' ONLY GUMED ***I have printed directly onto these cards, both sides, using my Canon Inkjet, straight paper path printer and have had very good results. I actually use them to print a boarder on the front and greeting in the centre and then attach my artwork within the boarder printed on the front.I wanted a card that gave the feel and look of quality and after ordering and trying almost all the available types on Amazon and elsewhere, finally I have found EXACTLY what I was looking for!*** UPDATE JULY 2024 - THE PRICE HAS REDUCED, MAYBE THIS IS BECAUSE OF THE CHANGES I HAVE NOTED IN MY UPDATE - THEY STILL PRINT WELL ON MY CANON INKJET STRAIGHT PAPER PATH PRINTER! ***If you buy at the 2 pack price (currently £15.90) That's under 16p for a quality card and envelope, I thinks that's value for money!Thank you 'docrafts' Papermania - Please don't change your paper stock like most of the other sellers on here!

I love the square shape on these - They are very sturdy and a great value pack for making cards for all occasions. I've saved a fortune since making my own cards with this pack.

Not purchased this brand before in this size. Although the cards are sturdy at 300gsm weight they are not a true crisp white more off white almost ivory in colour and I'm disappointed in this, even the envelopes are off white.They are usable but I'll not be buying these again.

When these first arrived I was very impressed. Nice quality and beautifully packaged with ribbons around each pack of 25 - an unexpected nice touch. BUT a lot of the card edges are a bit rough, as though they had been cut with a blunt blade. And compared to the other cards I have in stock they most definitely are not bright white. More a very soft cream colour. I actually checked the packaging to make sure that they had sent the right thing.This could be a problem when making cards with a white top layer, but as long as there is a coloured layer in between I should be able to get away with it.

There are no complaints about these cards, once again used for Xmas cards for the kids. Great value a d easy to work with.
