Better than expected
Simple and effective product. I thought that for the price, it was worth the purchase but was not expecting the quality to be this good. The swan neck arm is very sturdy and feels as though the arm might snap from the base clamp and at first I felt this an unnecessary design process but provided that you do not keep bending it into every shape imaginable I think it is fairly robust - time will tell. Certainly holds my iPhone 5S in place with very little movement. At this price it's excellent value.

Mostly strong and hard-wearing
This is, maybe my third one of these, probably not from the same seller.I find this item really useful as I use it in a wagon. Big, hard-wearing clip that'll grab onto most things and stay there. The neck is really strong and flexible too. My only gripe would be that the grab clip that holds your phone isn't as hard wearing. In my two cases of it breaking it's always the plastic grab clip. But then I'm using it a lot so make of that what you will.It hasn't put me off ordering another when needed.

It does its job perfectly
I can confirm this product is a really excellent value for money. Easy to assemble, since you only have to connect the handle to the arm. The table clip is strong, but I would say it works only on table borders around 2-3cm. The arm is quite long, but once set it definitely does not move. I was worried it may be weak and collapse holding the phone (I have an iPhone 6), but eventually it is very strong and stiff. Also the handle does not move once set. Great product for the money I have spent!

Very robust and durable
This product is very sturdy, a bit too sturdy! I cant manipulate or bend it very easily for what I need it to do but that may suit other peoples needs perfectly.

Great quality for the price
It worked perfectly for what I needed it for. We have a travel cot which our new born sleeps in upstairs. We couldn't attach the baby video monitor to it so needed something sturdy and adjustable to hold the camera. This this is perfect. Really solid and stable when in position and stays where it is supposed to. It is quite long, which for us it perfect as it can reach over the cot. The clamps hold tightly at both ends. Surprisingly good quality too for the price. Really happy with product and highly recommend

The holder is too wobbly.
I should’ve returned this one when I first got it. It doesn’t really do the job. The part that’s holding the phone is too wobbly and wouldn’t really stay in a position I want it to. I mean, it’s holding the phone safely alright, but you can’t really manipulate the angle it’s on as it tends to drop. The base clamp is not sturdy enough and can get deformed easily. It doesn’t really get a good grip either. The only thing they got right is the goose neck bit which is really hard but flexible. It’s a waste of money for me. I never use it now and have had to buy a better one.

Get a shelf
The reason this scores a 2 for sturdiness and not a 1 is because the clamp, which holds onto a shelf or similar, is solid. It has a vice like grip which could easily damage anything soft it clamps onto. The arm cannot support anything heavier than nothing, if you try and angle it to any degree other than straight it will fall over. It's really easy to use and to manipulate which is great, although it cannot hold any weight.I have a feeling it won't last long. The arm and device clamp are weak, if used daily I give it a month. As per the title, rest your phone against a shelf or rack instead, don't buy this rubbish.
