The Hanmir scales are a well built, very accurate set of scales that don't clutter the kitchen.QualityI did not expect the scales to have the build quality they did from the pictures however, the packaging box alone has a premium feel to it and if you know someone who loves their cooking these would make an excellent gift.They take 3 AAA batteries and it's a nice touch that they come in the box.The display has a purple screen which compliments the black plastic body and metal top and it has a very modern sleek look.You can easily change between lb, oz, g, fl oz and ml which is very helpful.A feature that I am yet to use but can see being very helpful is the weigh tear option which allows you to weigh multiple ingredients in one bowl.The scales are advertised as portable however I don't know how many people love cooking enough to take their scales with them but what they are is compact and very easy to store thanks to the low form factor.Good pointsEasy to storeCan convert several types of weightsSleek contemporary lookQuality packagingLow for factorMultiple objects can be weighed in one bowlOverallA nice addition to my kitchen and they replace my large heavy scales that clutter my cupboard.I hope you found this review helpful.

This is a great product. Wasn't expecting it to come so stylishly packaged and for it to be so light in weight. If you're looking for a gift straight from Amazon there would be no need to select gift wrapped. The scales are neat and compact and the digital display counts up and down i.e. It doesn't just appear or disappear as you add to or take away an item from the Platform. There are also good suction pads on the underside that I wasn't aware of until I tried to pick it up...and there was some resistance! Good quality feel to these scales and great that they come with batteries!

I spent AGES looking at all the different scales available, and this was EXACTLY what I wanted: compact, lightweight, easy to read, uses "normal' batteries (not those little round ones which come in so many different types). And you can weigh larger things on it than on the scales I had before, which had only a "centre circle" on which to place things, so it was hard balance anything larger than what fit within that circle. AND these scales weigh takes a weight up to 10 kilos, which is hugely helpful for weighing all sorts of things other than cooking ingredients (eg postal packages). Definitely FIVE STARS.

Lovely sleek looking scales, they are easy to use, clear display and very accurate. I am very pleased with my purchase a would definitely recommend well worth the money. Excellent.

I bought this after what must be years of frustration with Salter products, whose digital scales are nicely designed but seem to work intermittently at best.I'm not familiar with this brand but the reviews seemed positive.I've only been using it a day or two but already it is a tremendous relief to have such a reliable and easy to use piece of essential equipment.The LED screen is clear and bright with the numerals of such as size that they are easy to read with no ambiguity. I'm pleased to be able to plonk down my heavy glass jug and not max out the scale before weighing.The digi screen is easy to wipe clean and the display doesnt blink off before I've finished.I can only hope to get some longevity with this machine (over a year?) as it looks that it will do a fine job.Will update this review if anything changes!

Great all round. Compared to previous one, which was replaced because the display just went off to quickly to be useable when the weight wasn't changed - this is much better - a much more usable period of time to weight out items whilst cooking and a nice clear display.

I like this scales but after a month of using it the battery ran out! The on/off/reset button has also started sticking so instread of zeroing the scales it turns off instead which is annoying.Edited to say after 15 months it has stopped working altogether. Not happy as it's just outside the warranty. Won't buy again!

I needed a cheap, small scale to weigh packages up to 10kg before posting and these are just what i needed. build quality ok for the money and are working just fine for me. have used it so far for 2 - 5kg and all good.

Llevo usándola casi un mes. La uso para medir ingredientes para hacer pan y pastelería. He tenido varias básculas digitales y ésta es la que más me gusta hasta el momento.Tiene una superficie de peso grande, sobre elevada , que te permite ver perfectamente la pantalla indicadora del peso, cosa que con otras básculas resulta algo complicado dependiendo de lo grande que sea el bol o el plato que uses para pesar.Es bastante precisa. Yo uso cantidades muy pequeñas de levadura y , si bien, la báscula detecta el peso a partir de los 3gr, una vez has pesado una primera cantidad, por ejemplo 100 gr, la báscula pesa de 1 gr en 1 gr.Se limpia muy fácil. Se maneja muy cómodo y se nota bien fabricada y de buen material.Los números de la pantalla se ven perfectamente, son grandes y están iluminados.Tiene diferentes posibilidades de peso, entre ellas, pesar líquidos. Hace muy bien las taras,..... En fin, muy buen producto en mi experiencia. La recomiendo.

Après 1 mois d'utilisation, je recommande sans réserve ce produit, car il répond à toutes mes attentes : précision, dimension parfaite (ni trop petit, ni trop grand), esthétique, facilité d'entretien, réactivité et ergonomie de l'affichage, stabilité, petit prix : franchement, n'hésitez pas ! Acheté pour mon utilisation personnelle, il constituerait de plus un très beau cadeau car livré dans une jolie boîte.

Es una báscula muy buena con un precio muy económico. De reducido tamaño ocupa poco espacio. Aún así tiene una gran pantalla en la que ver los pesajes. El embalaje es resistente y discreto (una caja color negro mate con letras plateadas) a la vez que elegante por si lo quieres guardar en un sitio a la vista. La báscula realiza la tara automáticamente si colocas un recipiente encima antes de encenderlo, que así de primeras parece una tontería pero cuando tienes las manos llenas de harina, agradeces por no guarrear los botones

Es fácil de usar, tamaño adecuado, precisión suficiente, prestaciones (domésticas) suficientes y estética aceptable.Tiende a cojear un poco por su diseño estructural. La mía cojea en todas las superficies de casa probadas (8). Para pesar hasta 10 kilos le falta robustez.Los botones son pulsadores-interruptores que hacen un clic relativamente ruidoso. Si resultan duraderos, la báscula tendría un 8 sobre 10 en relación calidad precio. Es pronto para evaluar la fiabilidad de la electrónica.
