Cheap alternative to faber castell pitt pens
Bought these as a cheap alternative to Faber Castell Pitt Brush Pens - my daughter and I are very crafty and we bake, draw and colour ... I wanted to buy her some as an alternative - the stand is absolutely fab as it allows you to have them all on display and is great to fold up to take away with mini colouring in projects for holiday. The colours on the barrels of the pens does not really relate to the colour of the pens - the colours offered are a good cross section of colours - the pens are smaller than the faber castell and the nibs are harder - not as flexible but the colours go on paper well and if you wanted to buy a set as a present for an older child - teenager or above or an adult to satisfy their colouring craze then you these would be a good cheaper alternative just in case their craze does not last. I can't vouch for how long they are going to last, but they seem okay - when you compare the price to faber castell you can buy 5 sets of these a year for the same cost when Faber are in the sale. The fact that these have two tips is good because it allows for different colouring in techniques.I would suggest that you could colour yourself a swatch for each colour and stick if behind each of the faces of the pens, that way you will be able to select the colour you want more quickly. Have ordered mine light to dark and will do this. I always create a colour swatch because it is very frustrating when you are colouring to lay the wrong colour down based on the paint colour on the pen or pencil - as they often look different on paper.

Great pens - product information scarce
These are a good quality set of pens that benefit from being supplied in their own carry case. There are 36 pens in this set, many are quite similar in colour but different enough that there is a wide range of hues. The dual tips mean that you can apply colour in a strictly controlled manner with the fine tip or, in a more painterly fashion, with the brush tip. Once you have laid a patch of colour onto paper you can blend or spread it using a watercolour brush and water, this can be done (perhaps to a lesser degree) even if the colour was applied some time before.I like these pens a lot and find them to be brilliant to use, but I would like there to be more information available about them. I have tried various internet searches and cannot find any colour charts or information about the permanence of colours.

Nice but small
I like these pens more than i thought i would when i first got them. They are much smaller than i was expecting, with each pen being only 14cm (5 1/2") long. In use, i like this better than i like the larger drawing pens i have, and the set in the case is small and neat. I don't know yet, how (or if) the size of the pens will translate into how long the ink lasts, but so far so good. That said, the colours are rather intense, nothing very subtle in this selection, and the colours on the barrel are not particularly accurate for the colour of the ink, but that is easily overcome by trying them on a bit of paper first before using them on your work..The only real irritation is that the brush tip ends on some of the pens seem to have been pushed in too far), and i had to gently ease them out a bit further, getting ink on my fingers in the process. This isn't an insurmountable problem, and the tips i have eased out a bit haven't slid back in, so i am not too worried about it, personally.

Incredibly versatile and easy to use
Great value for money and lovely case to store the pens in. Love the two different ends so that different effects can be created. There is a slight tendency for the longer nib to recede into the pen barrel, so be mindful of this. The colours blend well with water - take care to apply water with a brush after applying ink to paper, as it will dilute the pen otherwise. Also, for more intense colour, scribble a little onto acetate and apply ink mixed with a little water with a brush to your design. Love them!

Excellent Value Pens ~ Lovely Brush Tip
I love the brush tip on these dual tipped pens, They fill in large areas which can be coloured quickly and I like the water colour effect too. They are , after all, not ink, but water colour so some overlap in colour should be expected. The brush is a useful size in that it also paints a VERY fine line and now that I'm getting used to them they are adding greatly to my pleasure in adult colouring. Also, at £25 for 36 pens, they represent great value at 69 pence per pen and with their own well made storage, they're very good value

Excellent
I have previously bought a smaller set of these pens and love them. These have a very extensive range of colours so gives a lot more choice which is lovely. The brush ends are lovely and soft and easy to use and the hard tip ends give a bit more colour when you needed. The case is very useful too and is very good storage. Very satisfied.

Love these
I love these! I do not use them directly on the paper but rather on a plastic surface where I can then mix in other coloyrs and pick the mixture up with the brush. I find this method works best for me. Great portable produc and looks lovely, good colour choice.

Disappointing
They work well and blend nicely when using as watercolours. However, I found the colour palette to be very limited and some of the brush tips were faulty. They were extremely tiny as though they had been pushed too far inside the plastic of the pen.
