Just got the lead, but nothing about how to get the software
They just sent the lead with no information about how to get the management software.When I asked, they directed me to a Korean website,www dot sdbiosensor dot co dot kr/Programreplace space dot space with a .But while the software would run, I could not get any connection to the meter using the cable.So I went to the Home Health UK website;www dot homehealth-uk dot com/medical/blood_glucose_monitor_testing dot htmI scrolled down to the "SD Codefree Management Cable and Software Download" and downloaded a program from there, but that seems quite limited in its options, but it does work.I no longer normally use the SD-Codefree meter, as I am normally supplied with sufficient test strips for a Glucose RX meter, but ran short and the SD test strips I still had were approaching their use by date, so reverted to the SD meter for now. But I am not happy with the software for the SD meter. Also the other meter uses a standard miniature USB cable, which I already have.If you have to buy your test strips then the SD Codefree strip are much more economical, but this is the second time I have attempted to use the software for this meter, so I can keep track of my sugar levels, but find it quite difficult and limited to use.

I had some difficulty initially in downloading the software. Once that was overcome I was a little disheartened to see the readings were not up to present day.

Efficient Way to Keep Track of Blood Glucose on your PC
I use this with the very useful Code free glucose monitor and find it very helpful to keep track of my blood sugar levels on my pc. I like the Monitor very much and especially like that the lancets and test strips are offered to diabetes sufferers at a low price. I live on an island near West Africa and yet the delivery service to my island is extremely fast. So I'm a satisfied customer and repeat buyer.

Garbage
Having downloaded the app to my phone i then connected the meter. Nothing happened at all. The app apparently just kept stopping. Waste of time and money on an item that does not work at all. Garbage.

Poor software. Cable OK.
The cable functions as such, but the software is a waste of time. Just keep your data in an exercise book or diary.Anyone with average MS Excel skills could produce better graphs from their glucose records than the pathetic line graphs that this product generates.

Great aid to BS control
Very useful aid to "eating by the Meyer" only gave it 4 stars because software won't allow enough printing options.File format can be opened in Excel and OpenOffice.
