Cleaner Look and Better Functionality
These replaced a set of the crimped sheet metal versions. These are much stronger and their smooth lower slide surface provides much less resistance to string movement that the original set. I'm very pleased with their ease of installation, look and function!

A Very Nice Upgrade at a Reasonable Price
I picked these string trees up to replace the cheap roller trees I previously put on my Strat, and I'm thrilled with them! The chrome plating is excellent. They look high quality and have a bit of heft to them for their size. They didn't seem to add any friction to the strings vs the rolling trees, and I've had no tuning issues making the swap. They are also super easy to install, so they are a great upgrade even for beginners. Plus, they'd look equally at home on a vintage style or modern style Strat. If you are looking to upgrade your string trees at all and don't want to go the Graph Tech route, these are a no brainer.

Nice alternative to bent metal or roller style string trees
I hate the cheap bent metal string trees that come on some guitars. I wanted a cosmetic upgrade more than a functional one, and these fit the bill. These string trees are not oversized or heavy and will look great with modern or vintage-style guitars. The machining and chrome plating is nice too, the string glides along smoothly. A little pricey for what they are, but not way overpriced like a lot of Fender parts. The included screws were longer but about the same width as my stock screws, so I used the included screws and they are nice and secure. Easy installation with no modification needed.

Nice! Look better than stock... but taller. Keep that in mind.
I used these to upgrade the guides on my daughter's Fender and Squier strats. You have to be careful about the string height difference wrt the nut. You may or may not want to use both of these. That said, they look great... much better than the stock ones.

Better than the original ones
These were perfect.I had to replace some of the original string trees on my Fender, and these are genuine Fender parts, and they’re much higher quality than the original one that came on my guitar.Highly recommended.

Beautiful and functional replacement for my Strat
I recently replaced a lot of chrome parts on my strat that had rusted, and I hated the appearance. Not only do these look way better than the 'sheet metal' string tree guides that came on my guitar, but they are super smooth on the underside, and I'm noticing tuning stability is way better.

Fender’s best string tree option
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I didn’t expect something so basic to exceed my expectations so much. If you want to replace a vintage style string tree while maintaining the general look, these beat all of Fender’s other options. They are solid, frictionless, set to a perfect height from the headstock, and super easy to install.

They're slippery
I replaced the stamped steel guide on my Player II Tele, works great, doesn't bind, make sure you use the longer screw that comes with it though.
