I upgraded to the WD Black SN850X 1TB with Heatsink for my gaming pc after my ssd died, and it has exceeded every expectation. Installation was a breeze — it slotted perfectly into my motherboard's M.2 slot, and the built-in heatsink saved me the hassle of having to reuse the one i already had and made installing it easierThe speed is incredible. Boot times are almost instant, and games load fast AF. I’ve also noticed smoother performance although thats probably due to having a fresh windows install. The heatsink does a fantastic job — even under heavy load, temps stay well within safe limits.It’s also PlayStation 5 compatible, so this would be a great option if you're looking to expand your PS5 storage with something fast and reliable. although i dont own one so cant comment on anything about thatIf you want top-tier performance with excellent thermal control, this drive is worth every penny. Absolutely awesome drive, super-fast, super sturdy. Well worth the money.I upgraded my system from a 1TB WD_BLACK SN850 I'd managed to fill up.I was able to clone my installed 1TB System drive onto this new 2TB one in an enclosure without any issues, then just swapped the drives over and the PC booted right up and Windows didn't even seem to care it was running off a different drive.Faster and with more capacity, it's noticeably improved Windows performance. My old drive is now going to be used for the latest games (like Starfield) that require SSD's to run effectively... And of course, Skyrim will go on there... :)

Delivered promptly.I was actually looking for a 2tb and had one in basket already when I came across this WD Nvme.I decided to go for this over 2tb to give myself peace of mind.The installation is as easy as it can be. WD provided cloning software which after downloading it took about 4 minutes to clone my older Nvme and that's it really!It's fast and reliable brand. Downloaded WD dashboard from their website to use T.R.I.M and it works flawlessly.Overall happy with the quality and price point of this product.Haven't benchmarked it yet but this is next on my to do list over the weekend.-TM

Picked up the 4TB WD_BLACK SN850X for my gaming rig and it’s been awesome. Install was super easy, and right away I noticed how fast games load—seriously quick. Read and write speeds are as advertised, and everything just runs smoother overall.Tons of space too, so I don’t have to constantly delete stuff to make room. Temps have been stable, and performance hasn’t dipped at all even under heavy use.If you're into gaming or just want a beast of an SSD, this one’s solid. Definitely worth it.

Got this for a fantastic price on Prime Day.I was not sure how this would behave in an old '2013' Mac Pro (via a cheap tiny adaptor) — some NVME's will part-work, but for some reason MacOS can't boot from them ...no such worries here thankfully!I am getting slightly faster — and certainly more consistent — write-speeds with this NVMe storage when compared to the old Apple storage that originally came with my Mac ...and at a decent 1TB it has quadruple the capacity of the old stock apple stick.The built-in heat sink seems decent — if you have room for a heatsink I would always opt use one.The OS seems slightly 'nippier' to when using this storage.I also have Windows 10 on a partition on this stick, and that too seems to run without issue.If this goes on 'sale' again (for £75 or less) then I would highly recommend it.

No throttling due to heat like my original (cheaper) nvme ssd (with no heatsink). 6 month in and so far everything running great and it was super easy to install.
