The USB C may not be of adequate ability for charging plus display signals. Had issues at first that seem to sometimes appear and disappear. The ports are also harsher for what you plug in, so make sure you're not plugging in and out a lot

I tried a few docks for the Steam Deck, and with each one I ran into some bothersome issue that irritated me to the point that returning them was the only way to preserve my sanity. The best thing I can say about the JSAUX dock, after a few weeks use, is that it works as intended. No signal drops. No random disconnects. Enough ports for basic peripherals. Bonkers that the official dock can't offer a user experience this straightforward and reliable (and for twice the price). For what the Steam Deck is capable of outputting, this is all you need.

Works ok, but I couldn't get the firmware updated.The instructions provided doesn't work and the software to update the firmware simply doesn't recognize it not matter what.Tried multiple computers and usb cables, including a high quality one that ships with a samsung external ssd.Contacted the support but no one replied so far, thus only 3 stars.

I purchased a different branded dock that claimed to support 30W profile on the ROG Ally and 100W pass through but I had major issues with constant power issues. I returned that item and purchased this, and using a 100W PD3 charger this works perfectly and happily runs my ally on a custom 30W profile. Lots of ports, very convenient and the build quality is pretty damn good. Just make sure you buy a 100W charger to go with it, otherwise you'll be stuck with running your ally on a 25W profile with the original Asus 65W charger.
