Great for dry eyes
These were recommended by my eye doctor. These are wonderful for dry eyes because they have flaxseed oil, which is good for that. They work very well. The drops provide long time relief. Sometimes I use them more than once in a day, but they usually last with one or two drops in the morning. I can get two days use from one vile. Expensive, but if you suffer from dry eyes, they are worth getting.

Recommended by my Eye Doctor
Recommended by my Eye Doctor because my eyes are extremely dry. I am not particularly fond of single use eye drops sticks, but I couldn’t find these in a multi use bottle. The drops are working very well. My eyes were so dry they stayed irritated continuously. I use them several times a day and before bedtime. Easy to use and have helped with the irritation the dryness causes. They are more expensive then the little green bottles. I cheat just a little. I use a single stick for 1 day. I open a new vial every morning and use 1 drop in each eye several times a day. My eyes do feel much better and the 30 vials last the entire month. I’m sure sure everyone has their own opinion about useage. This is just mine. I do recommend this product.

Lasts a good while, stays on eye does not drip off eyelashes onto spectacles.
Refresh Mega-3 drops do last longer than the OcuSoft MGD. They are thicker in consistency which means blurred vision for the first 30 seconds, not suitable for keeping in the car due to that. I'll continue to use OcuSoft in the car.The advantage of the thicker consistency drop is that the drop remains on your eye and does not run down your eyelashes onto your glasses. This is probably why the drops last longer. The OcuSoft are "cooler feeling" with more soothing initially, but that is short lived. The Refresh Mega-3 do a great job of keeping your eyes moist longer.I find the extra packaging in sachets as unnecessary and you have to use scissors to open up the sachets to get the individual droppers out. I keep droppers inside the original cardboard box, so the sachets don't really help keep sun off the droppers. Seems pointless. The droppers are resealable. As long as you throw away old droppers the next day, it shouldn't be an issue with contamination. These drops are preservative free which is very important to not further aggravate dry eye.

This Really Works!!!
Great product to keep eyes in great shape! This gives a lot of needed nutrients and moisture to keep your eyes from getting blisters on them! Will buy this again.

Very Effective Eyedrops, But a Bit Costly
Refresh Optive Mega-3 provides strong relief for dry, irritated eyes. These eyedrops are smooth and very hydrating, and the preservative free formula is ideal for sensitive eyes. Each vial gives about two applications, and the packaging is convenient and hygienic. I’ve noticed that they make my vision more blurry for a short time compared to some preservative-containing drops I’ve used, but that seems to come with better long-term lubrication. My eyes stay comfortable longer after using them. The main downside is the price, which is higher than other options, especially those with preservatives. Still, they’re worth it if comfort and moisture retention are priorities.

Try this for your prosthetic eye!
I use this to moisten a prosthetic eye, and it works better than the specific prosthetic lubricant. It's neither very thick nor overly runny and feels very refreshing on the eyelid. Prostheses get much drier than natural eyes, so it's great to find a product that eases the discomfort and irritation. I can't speak to whether it blurs your vision at all, but I can vouch for its effectiveness as a lubricant.

Accutane Holy Grail
Why did you pick this product vs others?:On Accutane, EVERYTHING gets super dry — skin, lips, inside of nose, eyes. These are a must-have for me now during my course of meds, but as I generally have dry eyes, I’ll likely continue to use them after the course as well.I used to wear biweekly contacts, but my eyes started to get so dry after about a month on Accutane that was having to replace them every few days instead of every other week, despite constant application of Refresh Relieva for Contact Lenses, which got expensive fast.I switched to dailies, which helped a little, but they’d still feel scratchy by bedtime and were pretty scratchy to remove.I have used harder-core drops/gel/ointment/etc. in the past for general dry eye, but many of them are blurry or uncomfortable. These are not blurry or uncomfortable at ALL — they feel like regular eye drops, but less cold due to the oil content, and they’re safe to use with contact lenses. It’s recommended to put them in 10min before putting contacts in, but I haven’t had any issues putting them in immediately beforehand, or even with them already in if I need eyedrops in a pinch. Yay!!I find if I put these in after taking my contacts out before I fall asleep, my eyes aren’t dry & are MUCH more comfortable (like they should be!) when I wake up in the morning, so I don’t dread putting in my lenses for the day. The redness from the dry irritation dissipated in a day or two. And, if I use the drops Immediately before putting in my dailies in the morning (I don’t have the patience to wait…), I don’t usually find myself needing drops throughout the day unless I’ve been in the wind or something. With the castor oil in there, these are essentially what barrier cream is for skin (moisturizing & holds in hydration), versus typical drops (e.g. Refresh Relieva), which would be more akin to a hydrating serum (combats dehydration, but will mostly evaporate without a true moisturizer on top).Overall I highly recommend these for anyone with dry eyes who wants to maintain visual clarity, for contact lens wearers (use as advised by the box to be safe), and those on Accutane or any other medication that causes dryness. Wish I’d found them sooner!
