I did hours of search before settling on this. Why this one? It has a flat but solid base that does not take up excessive room on a table or floor. It is considerably more sturdy than a traditional tripod. The angle-poise action is really stiff (which is good) and I love that I can position the iPad wherever I need it "exactly" and position the angle of the iPad precisely because of the ball attachment.The height of the pole is for seated height, so if you are standing, you will probably want it to sit on a table of some kind. The grip for the iPad is perfect, sturdy strong yet easy to use and work with the Supcase iPad cover too.I am SUPER impressed with this, really would recommend it. If you're a Whatnot seller, you will appreciate this item and the price is really impressive for the quality too. Oh, and it took 3 minutes to assemble.

Very simple to put together, can position it well, fairly flexible positioning. Sturdy, holds my phone with no rocking or concern on my part that it will fall out. The only downside is that the clamp is purely spring loaded with a very strong spring, making it fairly difficult to open to hold my phone. This is particularly troubling as I got it to hold my phone above me after having shoulder surgery, and it's impossible to manipulate with one hand. It would have been nicer to have a manually operated clamp system, but I'm guessing it will work pretty well for people with two normally strong hands.

I’m using this item right now to hold a large iPad Pro while lounging on sofa & it’s a great product! Sturdy & well made, heavy base, easy to assemble, easy to use. I have the base slid under sofa and the arm articulated to hold iPad elevated, slightly higher than eye level an arms length away, so I’m not looking down at all. I have a deep, plush sofa, so this is a very useful tool to use while lounging, saves my neck & arm from straining to hold iPad. In spite of having multiple computers w/large screens + MacBook & iPhone, I find myself using an iPad 99% of the time. This tablet floor stand holder is especially useful for watching podcasts, watching stock trades, scrolling, reading, EVERYTHING! I work between two iPad Pros so one stays attached to the floor stand 24/7. I read the Amazon reviews & watched a couple of the user videos before deciding, wasn’t sure I wanted something like this mucking up my living room aesthetic. It really doesn’t, looks nice & is easy to pick up & set aside out of the way if need be. Love it & highly recommend!

Easy to assemble and works great. My only concern is that the pull chuck on this model has a limited expansion range. The pull chuck is the section that grips the iPad on each end. This means that I will need to get a larger model to hold a 13 inch iPad in its horizontal position or I will need to find a large larger pull chuck. I wrote to the manufacturer to get a little clarification about this. In the meantime, I wanted to leave good feedback because this thing does what it says in the description, has a solid, secure base and provides great flexibility. This is the third stand that I have tried. The bases on the other ones were too small and made placing my iPad on them dicey. I'm really hoping that there is a way to hold the new larger screen models.

I absolutely love this thing! Perfect for the cozy person or if you always have cats laying on you. I use it for my Kindle, my Nintendo switch, and my tablet. Had to buy a second one for my husband! He also uses it with his phone to watch streams.Easy to build and configure, very sturdy!
