These are great. Size wise, there are many conflicting reports, so I've attached photos of them folded. Unfolded. Unfloded and extended. On a 5 year old. On me. On me fully extended.They are a little snug on me, but these are meant for children afterall...actual children, not children at heart.Soundwise, the dampening is good. These aren't meant to cancel noise, so don't think you can drown out annoying background chatter, empty appologies by SWR about cancellations or that guy who just can't chew him gum with his mouth closed.These dampen all noise, especially loud noises, to protect your ears but don't deafen you so you can still be safe and alert to your surroundings.The colour is good, a nice deep blue. Even if that had a hint of purple, still great for boys and girls alike.I'd recommend them, now tested, going to buy a second pair for my eldest. Mooie en stevige gehoorbescherming. Demping is zeer goed. Wel heeft mijn zoontje van negen moeite om hem zelfstandig goed op het hoofd te plaatsen. Dat komt omdat de schelpen snel terugschieten in de opbergstand en de klemming is behoorlijk sterk. Ik heb hem een volle dag en nacht op een rij DVD geplaatst (waardoor de schelpen breder uit elkaar staan dan normaal gesproken op het hoofd) en dat heeft de klemkracht verminderd waardoor het nu makkelijk gaat en comfortabeler zit. Al met al voor het geld een prima aankoop maar hanteerbaarheid en comfort kan beter.
