Love this set, it is a nice gold tone. The price is very reasonable compared with gold plastic stuff from other stores. It serves its purpose and adds to the decor.

These items are a nice yellow gold as I wanted. The two envelope openers does what they should. The scissors are shaped to look like maybe the Eiffel Tower but they are hard to use. They are stiff and you can't cut in a straight line without uneven bumps. Since the overall price wasn't too bad, I will stick with them. They are more for show.
