Common repair part for most mini and wine refrigerators
The most common cause of most mini fridge and wine fridge cooling issues is a malfunctioning start relay. The two most common start relays are 4.7 ohm resistance with either 1 pin or 2 pin connectors. This QP2-4RT has a 1 pin connector. Replacement of a faulty start relay is fairly simple as it is usually readily accessible in the back of a fridge. It may be under a cover that must be removed first. Once located, simply remove the wire connector to the relay pin, then release the tabs that secure the relay in position and remove it. Replace the defective relay with new one and reverse the steps of the removal procedure.
