This holds a very good amount of dried dog food and has useful markers down the sides of the container.In the picture, for reference, I have put in a new 2kg bag of Iams chicken small dog food. It came just under half full, up to the 4 mark on the side, there are 9 marks in total. Not sure if it would hold a 5kg bag if pet food.It seems to be sealed well and hopefully will keep the dog food fresh.I like that it's on little wheels so I can move it around my worktops to make cleaning easier.There is also a handy measuring cup, so if you are concerned about overfeeding your pets, you can easily weigh the correct amount of food and see how far up the cup it comes and then no more having to drag the scales out everyday.There's also a handy space on the top of the container to store the measuring cup with space for something like medication, vitamin drops, or a small tub of daily treats. Anything your pet needs daily.

It takes 2-3kg bags of cat crunches easily, keeps them fresh and unreachable by cats.

Just what i needed to store dog food

Finally, a small container for my dogs food that is actually airtight. Once the food was in, the dogs took one sniff and ignored it - proof that it is airtight!The size is great, my small dog is on a special diet and his food comes in 3.5kg bags. This container holds it all, without too much wasted space.I can’t comment on the wheels as I have chosen not to use them.My only criticism is that the flap at the top, which I open everyday to take food out, is a little small. I can just get my hand in with the scoop, my husband has trouble.

Issue is the little flap that you scoop from won't close so the dried food will go stale quicker. I tried to stick it down with tape but still pops back up, couldnt be bothered to send it back, but wouldn't recommend if you want to keep the food air tight.Good points size fits about 5 bags of 800g dried food, and has little space on top where I hold my cats supplements.

Lange habe ich nach einer Futterbox für das Trockenfutter meiner Hündin gesucht. Viele waren einfach zu groß oder zu umständlich. Hiermit habe ich endlich das Richtige gefunden. Die Box ist wirklich sehr platzsparend, was für mich wichtig war, da die Futterbox im Flur stehen sollte.Da wir noch einen "verfressenen" Hund im Haus haben, der so ziemlich alles vertilgt, was ihm vor die Nase kommt, hatte ich einen guten Testlauf, ob das Futter auch wirklich nicht riecht bzw. ob die Box wirklich dicht ist. Das ist sie, denn der besagte Hund kümmerte sich null um das Futter darin.Nach mehrmonatigem Einsatz kann ich sagen, dass das Futter super geschützt ist, kein Geruch, kein verschimmeln und es bleibt frisch. Dem Anschein nach macht sie einen stabilen Eindruck, bisher ist nichts abgebrochen oder gerissen - bei täglichem Gebrauch. Die Rollen laufen leicht und locker. An beiden Seiten sind noch "Griffe", die das Anheben oder tragen ermöglichen. Die Öffnung allerdings mag für große (Männer-)Hände zu schmal sein.Praktisch ist auch der Portionsbecher, den ich immer auf die Einbuchtung der Box stelle. So ist er immer griffbereit zur Hand. Ich habe mir direkt eine 2. Box dazu geholt, in der unsere Leckerlies lagern.Die Maße von 32 x 17 x 38 cm stimmen genau.Fazit: Hält, was es verspricht und für mich eine klare Kaufempfehlung, wenn man nach einer kleinen, platzsparenden Futterbox sucht.
