Solid platform as a base to run ROS2 nagivation and SLAM
This Mecanum robot chassis is solid and easy to install. It comes with 4 DC brushed motors with hall-effect encoders. This is essential to run ROS2 navigation and SLAM. I added LD19 Lidar, Pico Pi as micro-ROS controller and Raspi 5 with 4GB running Ubuntu 22.04, ROS2 Humble. It is moving fully automatically. Very interesting to see it moves.
