These are adorable!
I actually bought these for my mom. She makes tons of cookies (year round) and one of her best is Scottish shortbread. This year she wanted to try out cookie stamps but we couldn't find any - not even at Williams Sonoma! I bought her these and they arrived ahead of schedule. She loved them! They worked great and were very cute. She was thrilled.

This will be very similar to my review for JBK's non-Christmas cookie stamps. They're identical in construction, materials and method of use. These are well made, and heavy for their size. When you use them as directed the dough doesn't stick and the impression is good. But, there is a learning curve. My first attempt produced shallow impressions on the dough, so I didn't press hard enough. The next attempt, I think I pressed too hard which caused the dough to stick to parts of the impression. Practice and you'll be able to make beautiful cookies with these.Remember that these leave impressions only. They aren't cookie cutters. You'll have to use a similarly sized biscuit cutter after you've pressed the dough or trace around the stamp with a sharp knife.I chose these over some other Christmas cookie stamps I saw elsewhere because I like most of the designs on these.Like the other cookie stamp set I reviewed the impression could have been cut a little bit deeper, hence the 4 stars instead of 5.

Nice collection of seasonal images.
Easy to use. I followed the instructions and oiled them before I used them, and dusted the dough with flour. I cleaned them afterward by hand with a toothbrush.

They work, but I have better cookie stamps
I did not find any problems in using these stamps without handles. Actually, I think it was much easier.Of course it goes without saying that you need the proper cookie dough in order to get a good impression. However, the impression left was not as deep as impressions left by my wooden stamps or even some of my silicone stamps when compared using the exact same batch of cookie dough and in the oven the exact same time.Lightly oil before use and dust flour before each stamp, then using a toothbrush under hot water, clean them up. Easy. However as the headline says, they work, but I have better.

Wonderful results for Christmas cookies
Very easy to use and easy to make imprints for my Christmas anise Springerle cookies. These are great additions to my cookie making tools. Worth the price because they appear to be well made.

Pottery cookie stamps
The stamps worked well All most as good as my hand carved stamps from my Grandmother. However they have developed a very rancid odor apparently the initial oil put on themWas absorbed into the clay .I would advise not to use oil as the directions directed.Just use the flour. Cannot get the odor out . Shirley Brumfield

Great!
I love them. They are varied in design so a few have a more "Christmas" theme (star, angel, bells) while others are more "holiday" traditional (tree, Santa, holly, gingerbread man, etc.).

Makes lovely cookies
our Cookie dough stuck to every design. Had to use a heavy dusting of flour on the dough, then use the press.
