MontegrappaRollerball Pen Refills, 10 units/box, Fine 0,7 mm, Black

I’ve been using the Pelikan refills for my Montegrappa for years, just because they were more readily available. They’re both good inserts but it’s hard for me to do a direct comparison. I typically use fine point but this is a medium. The ink flow seems smoother but I can’t tell if that’s because it’s a larger tip.This a a great medium point cartridge and I wouldn’t hesitate to get another one of these if I could find one in fine.

My department bought a pen desk set for our boss a couple of years ago. The ink cartridge on the pens recently ran out and I replaced them with the Montegrappa refill with great results. My boss says the pen is easier to write with now that it was with the original cartridge. Score one for me for finding this product.

Fantastic smooth writing. I dropped my original and the pen started writing a little off, skipping, etc. The replacement made it write as good as, if not better than new. Best writing implement I own.
