I don't notice a difference in sound. One thing that is different, however, my Yeti did not work with OBS studio very well, probably due to its age. FIRST! I have to mention, the packaging came wrecked!!! But the product is safe.Secondly, For my non-complicated basic needs, this is awesome! Good mic, steady and stable quality, I love the quality of the sound (with just a little downside, somehow it pick up my refrigerator sound or some electric stuffs - unsure how to describe it even though I Isolating noise), however it cancels other outside noise. But, it's not a big deal to me as I usually do recording in another area of my apartment.THIRDLY! And to me, this is the most important part, EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I don't know where should I begin. I contacted them as I need recommendation for adapter for my iPhone 13 Pro and they replied me which adapter to get and AMAZON LINK of a product to get in less than 24 hours. Blame myself for my impatience, while waiting for their response, I took matter into my own hand to get myself an adapter and sure enough it was the wrong one. However the customer service personnel asked me for my feedback after I try using the "wrong" adepter, so they will be able to suggest other customers IF it works. I mean, you don't usually have customer service who truly cares to this extend. Let's face the truth LOL. I asked her many questions back and forth but man, she or he stayed consistent and was more than willing to help and even go beyond what I asked for.It may sounds cliche to say I don't usually write Reviews but it is true. I maybe excited and happy to have received a great product but to have a great customer service who is there for you to help you solve your problems with their product? and a brand or company who sincerely care to listen to your feedback so they can improve their product? This microphone is amazing, especially considering the price point. It's simple to use and the audio quality is good enough for most recreational uses. I doubt it's a substitute for a professional grade microphone, but if you need something so you can talk to your friends online, this is great at suiting those needs. The cord is a standard USB C and can easily be replaced with one that's longer if necessary.An additional feature I was unaware of when purchasing that I also want to highlight is the fact that it has its own dedicated headphones jack. This can be used with any pair of headphones while the mic is in operation. This cuts down on the cords running to and from your PC and is especially nice for my setup as I'm a bit of a ways away from my computer.The only drawback I've noticed so far while using it is actually a small issue with that audio jack. While the headphones are plugged in, you effectively become sensitive to vibrations in the microphone. While moving my mouse next to it, I can hear it in my headphones. However, this isn't actually picked up on the microphone so I consider it a very minor issue that could easily be solved by just purchasing some sort of microphone stand.I highly recommend this for any sort of casual microphone needs.UPDATE: After two years of owning it, the microphone broke. Seemingly, the ports where the Cables plug into got bent over time and stopped working correctly. This could have been a result of my usage, as my cat accidentally knocked it over a few times. Still, for the price, the fact that it lasted over two years with minimal issues is still fairly commendable.
