This was incredibly easy to use. The template I really nice and sturdy and it uses some really good hardware. The ability to tilt edges out and move the TV back and forth to get at the cabling behind it is great.Also, what is really cool, if you go to Sanus' website, you can put in the model of TV, desired height, and get handy measurements for putting up the template.I think all this together meant our bracket went up in ~20 minutes, and the TV in another 5 minutes.Overall, I would buy this again for any TV large enough to use it.

Bought to mount an old 2007 40" Sony TV (flatscreen, but heavier than modern 40"). I had never installed a wall mount before, so went slow and measured umpteen times, but the template worked smoothly. You will need a stud finder and I recommend a powered drill. It did install smoothly for me and has held very securely for two months now. A lot of mounting component options for different TV model needs; I am happy to store those for when I am able to get a newer TV. The viewing angles are quite good. It does pull a little ways out from the wall and tips to each side (up, down, right, left) so I can view comfortable across several angles (including diagonally from my kitchen). It is also fairly easy to adjust placement if you need it set a little to one side or the other on the mount bracket. The tension knob is easy to use, which was necessary to keep my old heavyweight from drooping forward unexpectedly. Low-profile visual presence on the wall, though that would depend on the size of the TV being mounted; clean even lines with minimal fuss. Note there is not a lot of clearance between the TV and the wall if you do not keep the TV extended, so if your TV is older like mine with ports facing straight to the back instead of out to the side of the screen, you may need to buy angled adapters for HDMI attachments (e,g, Amazon Fire Stick) or stiff cables.

Did you see a sale on Best Buy to buy some stupid 85" TV for less than $2,000 that will 100% die on you in less than 2 years?You're in luck! This will definitely last a lot longer than that! This is a very strong piece of equipment, and the only challenges are 1) finding the TWO studs needed to install it on and 2) lifting up your soon-to-die impulse purchase in your attempts at keeping up with the Joneses!It comes with a nice drill chart for you to align on the two studs you find and you just drill all willy nilly, and then you put the back panel on and then PULL on it to make sure it doesn't rip out of the wall (if it does, congratulations! You did not in fact find a stud! That's what happens when you buy the cheapest stud finder that can find a stud in mid-air because it doesn't calibrate correctly!). Now slap the TV panel on and boom, lift your giant well-thought out investment and it hooks on VERY easily.Once it's on, it's very easy to move and angle, and there's a lot motion allowed. It won't seem that way, but that's because you're forgetting your enormous TV is in fact enormous and can only bend and angle so far before its edges literally hit the wall, but rest assured, this mount can pivot further!And now enjoy your "why does the color look off? Why are there ads on this thing?" TV that your kids will accidentally stare at for too long and break it, forcing you to go through the unmounting and remounting process all over again whenever BestBuy has yet another "exclusive just for YOU!" sale in their attempt to dump their unsold inventory!

My long suffering wife and I hung an 85" TV on this bracket and we didn't fight once. I have a bum shoulder from recent surgery so I rigged up a jack to do the bulk of lifting. This is a good idea. Big TVs are still heavy.THe positive CLICK of the bracket when you get it properly in place is a big plus, because you won't be able to see well. The tilting is a bonus even if you will have it flat against the wall to watch TV because you can hang the heavy sucker THEN tilt it and hook up the wiring. This is a big big plus.Hardware that came with it was good. Template was handy. Instructions were clear. It's a good, stronk mount like even mother in law could hang off it. I like my mother in law and she's tiny but this is a joke people. Merry new year.

We had limited mounting options due to how our wall above our fireplace was built and where the studs are located relative to the power and cable outlets. The wide opening and multiple holes along the perimeter allowed us to mount our TV with little effort. We tried several other mounts but none of them worked with where our studs and outlets were. We were also able to make small adjustments after mounting using the included hex key/allen wrench. It's pricey, but it's well built and meets our needs.

Well made and reasonably sturdy, best thing is it's easy to fit and can be adjusted after the TV is mounted so you can get it perfectly level

Its Terrible feels cheap and flimsy and doesn’t safely fit my Samsung TV not impressed at all
