This is a good quality handle. Good price. Easy to install.

My only tip is that the pre drilled hole size on these needs to match your door.This is something you should check first. 2nd purchase with the right size did the trick for me.

The shaft has to be cut to the proper size/length. A grinder works great to get the exact length. I needed to grind off about 1/4 inch.My door was from 1967 thus 1 1/2 inch. Most newer doors are now are now 1 3/4 inches.

Kinda cheesy. Seems they will do anything to cut costs. Ordering a foreign, NOT CHINA, made latch.

OK..I rarely write a not so good review, but in this case, I feel it is necessary. I was replacing the original Hampton Products Handle with this one.This product, well let me list the issues I encountered; 1. The screw holes in the interior handle plate were just slightly off from the original holes on the door 2. The spring is so flimsy that the handle button would not properly react to thumb pressure to open 3. The catch for the latch is silver and does not match the latch black color, if you are paying attention you will note that difference in the picture, I did not note it until I opened the product 4. The metal drive rod that goes thru the door does not have a seating knob (like the one I was replacing did have) and therefore wobbled in the handle hole. Fortunately I also ordered the Prime LIne K5071 at the same time (just in case). Great replacement product for the Hampton design. Installed cleanly and without issues. The latch catch is black to match. The spring is sturdy and strong heavier gage wire. The thru rod is attached to the handle button . Easy. Now this is my experience and since I am a DIY'er, my opinion only. Your experience may be different.

Easy to install. Seems well made - time will tell. A little pricey for what it is.
