Very pleased great phone and features. The camera is fine even though some say it's not. The only niggle is battery life. But even that's better than the experts say it is. It charges very fast. It certainly beats my old phone.

Easy to use even by non techie. Good screen, easy to read and protected in the pocket because it folds time will tell if regular folding effects the screen over time.

Was excited at first when this phone first released.Its a great novelty phone. The idea of it being able to flip and fold, really got me. At the time, I just had to have the phone.I got the phone and I loved it. Custom front screen, easy access to photo mode without opening phone.To me, it was like an office worker kind of phone. The camera was reminiscent of the Samsung S7 Edge I had prior to this phone. So whilst the overall design was great, it did feel like it lacked a lot of features you would find on proper flagship phones of that time.Sadly, it broke after 2 months. It can power on but it shorts without the charger plugged in. Samsung warranty doesn't cover it, if the phone has any form of cosmetic damage. No matter how minor.It was a pretty common issue that I don't believe Samsung out rightly acknowledged. Which I believe they tried to remedy with the Z Flip 4. I found only those with no visible cosmetic damage were able to fix the same issue I encountered.Just under a grand at the time, its been sitting in my drawer since. I've converted back to iPhone with the 14. It is what it is, but I don't believe I'll be spending money on another novelty phone until I'm confident they have a more robust design, where I feel like I can pay for the phone outright and it not break.

Best phone ever!

In 10 months the phone has cracked and started to bleed along fold. Samsung look for any little mark to avoid repairing under warranty. Quick google search will tell you all you need to know about this issue.

Phone feels real quality. Would have given 5 start but, the battery life is disappointing.

Like size not fully charged yet running on factory power still going 20h later

My first review said "This is a lovely piece of kit. It's so convenient to be able to tuck it into a shirt (or any other) pocket. Takes a while to work out how best to use it when it's folded, but once you've mastered that it's great. Hats off to the designers.The processor is powerful: Android Auto in my car boots far quicker than with the old phone. And the camera offers lots of variations including panoramic pictures and a food mode. Works well with the fold at 90 degrees."All of that is true. But there are issues. Battery life is very poor. In my initial review I said "You get 8-10 hours out of a full charge." A year later, it's closer to 5-6 hours.And then the screen. First a bubble started to emerge along the hinge. Then it spread. Then grime particles insinuated themselves underneath. After 18 months the thing is unusable.Samsung, because the device was first registered to a Saudi reseller, refused to honour the warranty. A strange way for a multinational to behave. I have 7 Samsung devices in my home and am working on a strategy to reduce that to zero.
