Great heat protection from these gauntlet size gloves. Comfortable to wear although a little broad in the hand.They are washable and offer a good grip when handling food or loading the fire box on my offset smoker.

i have only used once so far to do a shrimp boil and they worked well to handle the hot pot. They do have a strong odor when you first receive but i sat them outside to air out and they seem better. They give great protection and are easy to clean with soap and water. They are nice and thick so it does make them a little stiff to move fingers but not bad. Overall i am very pleased with these gloves so far.
