I wanted to update this it was a 3star but I have chosen to go back and give a 5 star not because they asked me but they reached out to me and made the order right they where very understanding and made it completely rightI ordered this on a whim just because I love the straight razor shave thought well I'll give it a try myself save some money and well not really. Should have just stuck with my original plan to buy a brush and cup I will say the oils so far are okay but the razor is a nightmare wish I would have just got a true one the very thin blade is flimsy and the instructions on how to install are confusing says that there are things sticking up to hold the blade yea there not there just two holes no kind of pin for the blade to rest on while the clasp comes down to hold it in place at all the blade ended up offset everytime ended up cutting myself twice before pulling my double edge razor out to finish was quite excited to get a straight razor for the first time just to shave with my old one. Very big let down

I bought this product for my husband as a birthday gift because he had wanted to try the straight blade shave out. We got it and was impressed with what it came with at first. We followed all the directions and even watch straight blade shave videos prior. The blades were extremely dull and flimsy. It pulled his beard hair bad! Yes, we did heat and apply a hot towel for a while prior to shaving ) To the point he wanted me to quit and use his regular razor. The blades wouldn't stay in place, it kept sliding into the 2 silver pieces. The only good thing about this product is the pre-shave, shaving cream and after shave. If your looking for a product that would be fit for a new person wanting to try straight blade shaves out. This isn't the produce to buy. I'm very disappointed. Now I have to search for another one and pray it doesn't perform like this one.

Bought for a Easter present for My boyfriend . He loves this set . The fragrance is also very lovely . I definitely like the scent . What a great price for everything too .

POS. nice kit, I really like the lotions and shave soap. brush and bowl seem just right for a beginner. but the razor was made wrong, so it doesn't line up properly, so the blade won't stay secure. if not for that I would have given a better rating, but being the most important part doesn't work, kinda makes the kit a bust
