As always Amazon delivered on the day I was told and the two doggie doors I ordered are just perfect. Now my dog can acually see out them as the old ones were in bad shape. If you're wondering about the people that deliver for Amazon they're always courteous and polite. Upstanding, oustanding business to do business with. :)

It was worth it to try these non-original replacement flaps due to amazons great return policy. I also read the reviews that said these fit much better after getting the bottom magnets free to move up to join the bottom of the flap. getting the bottom magnet free was not easy either! I was not able to get mine clean enough to freely go up and down but it is now up the extra 1/8-1/4 inch to make the flap fit now. For the savings of $50 per 2 flaps, I am happy with the product. I did also have to brush a little light powder to the inside of the flaps to keep them from sticking to each other at first when they were brand new and still a little clingly. Flap is made of what looks like quality materials, we will see how they hold up but at least at this price I could afford to replace more often.

After paying a premium price for Ideal Ruff weather dog door, purchasing again for my sister, giving it a stellar review, this product comes along and claims to fit "Evergreen Pet Supplies Extra Large Replacement Dog Door Flap Fits Ideal Pet Products Ruff Weather Pet Door - 9.75" x 17"-- and it DOES NOT FIT the Ideal Ruff Weather door. I live where a good sealing pet door is crucial. The original sood up to huge winds and minus teens temperature. This won't cut it, is a sham, a scam, and Evergreen continues to sell this product though its it has been and still is misrepresented. Evergreen, you owe us an explanation and righting the deceitful promotion. Amazon should ban you for this. Blackball Evergreen.

I was concerned the replacement flap door would not fit, Due to the dimensions shown on Amazon site being 9.75" inches by 17" inches. The actual dimensions should be 10" x18" for this flap door for a large Ruff Weather brand doggie door!The old Ruff Weather flap doors that I removed measure 10" x 18". So if you are looking for a replacement door of this size , I would recommend buying these flaps. Even though the dimensions are incorrect on the diagram showing 9.75" x 17" on Amazon. Also the holes line up properly with the hub locators on the dog door. Hope that helps! ALSO! These are better price.then the $54 dollars per flap door from the original manufacturer .

I move into a house and was super excited not to have to always get up to let my dog out back because it had a dog door already installed! Than I realized it was missing both of the flaps and I couldn't use it. I looked online for the make and model of the dog door and the website had these for more than double the cost for just one flap! And of course by some "magic" the next time I got on amazon these popped up and I ordered them! they fit perfect and my dog loves being able to go in or out whenever she wants!

This arrived quickly and was very easy to install. They feel a little lighter-weight than the original flaps, so how long they will last remains to be seen. The original flaps lasted for 13 years before starting to tear. We are in central AZ (Phoenix area), so our dog door flaps are not subject to extreme freezing temps, but they are subject to some pretty hot temps.

Problem: Extremely hot summers over the past two years have warped the material of my original door. It was purchased two years ago. But wait, the inside door has also warped. Indicates to me that the original door flaps composition were the issue ... but it was hot enough that I am not placing blame.Good: Shipped quick, and we needed it. Sturdy material. Installation is a five minute job, and half that time will be finding a screwdriver. Very easy.Bad: A millimeter or two more on the bottom, same on the sides ... would have been perfect. It just does not fit the door. The magnet only holds it closed if there is no breeze. (Our door is 'square', it is an issue on all three hanging sides.)A bit pricey for one unit. These are double-doors I'm replacing (or planned to). A new unit, however, would be more than twice the cost of replacements and greatly complicate installation. (So not so bad.)In a milder climate this replacement may be passable. Cold weather double-doors are purchased out of necessity. I am keeping the flap, and will find a way to extend it a bit. It would be nice if the original engineers had done so. I imagine adding some longer fiber insulating strips around the outer door frame would do the trick. Critters have their freedom, and the air exchange would be reduced a bit.Perhaps mine was a one-off miss. Read other reviews before deciding. If yours was correctly measured, let me know in a review and I'll try again. (Getting darn cold here!)After one year of use: The metal strip on the bottom of the flap fell off within a couple of months. I had some metal tape, so repaired it that way. It also helped with the slight gap between the frame and door. The product just isn't air-tight enough to work in extreme environments. I guess it's time for a new door. Sticking with the brand though. Love the door ... hate how the flaps warp. Still, this replacement got us through a year, with some tinkering.

Seems to be slightly shorter than the original but otherwise the same. We'll see how it holds up in minus 30°C. I use it on a door into my heated garage for my dog.
