Perfect replacement
The lenses for the solar cells powering the fan on my old unit were completely opaque due to sunlight and the anemometer bearing was failing. This replacement works perfectly and brought my weather station back to life.

Works well
We had to replace the exact same unit after approximately 7 years as it finally packed it in through fairly extreme weather conditions. So the install was very easy and the new unit connected quickly through wifi to the original two monitors that did not need replacement. Nice option to just buy the weather station only

Great unit.
Replaced a similar Acurite unit that lasted many years (so long that i can't remember the original purchase). Hard to believe that plastic can last so long

Put it out in an open space, house will affect wind.
It shows daily rain totals Wind device works great! This is second one for me. The digital screen inside, started dropping letter and numbers, just got old.Not the device, me! LOL

My second unit
My second one! First had the rain gauge give out after seven years. Very affordable and is very accurate according to the local airport reports.Have the hub, lightning detector, deluxe display and remote battery station (so I don’t have to crawl up a ladder to replace the batteries) was easy to install and handles all weather conditions when properly secured.Great unit and add ons!
